Step into this breakfast joint and be transported back to the early 2000s with its nostalgic ambience. Our delightful host greeted us warmly, setting the tone for a memorable dining experience. Service was lightning fast, adding to the excitement of trying out their dishes. The star of the show was undoubtedly the Carnitas Egg Benedict, drizzled with a tantalizingly spicy hollandaise sauce. Each bite was a flavor explosion, perfectly complemented by the succulent pork. It left us craving more. However, the crepes fell short of expectations. While the toppings were decent, they lacked the moistness and crisp edges that would elevate them to greatness. Despite being served with a jug of maple syrup, we longed for a decadent filling that would ooze out with the gentlest slice of our knife. In summary, the food was enjoyable, leaving us satisfied overall. After indulging in this brunch experience, consider taking a leisurely drive to Pruneyard, just a mile away, where you can immerse yourself in local events and continue the day's adventures.

Best American breakfast restaurant in San Jose. Their ham and bacon are much better than all the other chain restaurants. Even the coffee is so good. It is so rich and smooth.

The place was not busy and got seated immediately.Excellent buttermilk pancakes and sausages. unfortunately, that was the end of the story.Had buttermilk pancakes, crepes, big boy breakfast, classic breakfast, and French toast. Crepes are more like tortillas, eggs are dry, ham steak is burned, Frenchtoast undercooked. beacons and hashbrowns are acceptable. Coffee was not worth the price...burned.

Neighborhood gem. I should have gotten pancakes, but old habits are hard to deny. Pancakes were always a filler for us, because meat was so dear. Then, I order too much! I was practicing Spanish and meant to order only one meat, but got all three. The sausage was delicious, as was the pan de trigo which is usually dry, but their wheat toast was really flavorful. Great service, very attentive and very pleasant. Nice job, Uncle John!Parking: Park behind the store, or adjacent hotel lot.

We visited Uncle John's on a Sunday late morning after shopping at Campbell's Farmer's Market.Greeted with smiles and sat at the counter. Enjoyed some delicious French Toast with a side of bacon and succulent Blueberry Pancakes with a side of sausage. We devoured our meal feeling content. Prices weren't bad at all. Good service too.Open 7 days a week. Breakfast and lunch is served with a great selection on their menu.Update: Visit number 2This time I tried the Egg Whites Veggie with fresh fruit and wheat toast. My companion and her son had a decent sized Waffle and a Clubhouse Sandwich. Everything was delicious.

This place is alright. Been here twice and the service is not the best. The staff are very kind and accommodating, but I feel like the way they organize who is serving each table needs to be reevaluated. Servers are not as attentive as I would like and we often feel forgotten. Additionally, the last time we were here it really seemed like their potatoes were very old. Fries and hash browns tasted off. Overall, I'd come back and give them another chance, but I'm not impressed.

The food and service at this Campbell diner are great. I highly recommend their Eggs Benedict. Great food at reasonable prices. And the service is fast, fun, and friendly.

I'm seating here at the restaurant and it's so bad that I had to do the review right away. This is The worst place for breakfast, believe me, run as fat as you can! not worth the wait, waiters and waitresses are always in a bad mood everyone looks so unhappy!!!! Food is not that great! And don't you ask for any changes in your food because you'll get attitude like hell!!! Eggs are bad, pancakes raw, the use the cheapest ham ! Bad bad bad!!If you want quality and good service go to ;" The Mission cafe" in El Camino Real? The manager Ana was very sweet and offered an apology, so thanks for that, we won't come back again, or any of our family. So sad because we are neighbors

Second time here, the service was phenomenal, we were seated and served in about 10 minutes! That alone is enough to bring me back, but the food was great, I had the meat lover's omelette, my wife the California omelette, both were delicious and good portions. I definitely recommend Uncle John's Pancake House for your next breakfast meal.

Service was absolutely terrible, not once didn't they refill my water or coffee. My food came out in 25 mins and I was done with mine before my significant other got there's. I won't be going back! They need to work on their customer service and time management in the kitchen. It all starts from the top, poor management = poor employees. Save your money and go somewhere it is worth spending, stop supporting lames.

I had never been here before, but I have eaten at many breakfast places in the area since moving to West San Jose a year ago. I saw reviews on Yelp! and it looked like a good place to try, and it was. The atmosphere was great and very busy. It's a quaint restaurant with an old-fashioned vibe. I was seated immediately. I got there at about 8:10 in the morning on Sunday. The staff was cheerful, and I ordered the California Omelette. It came with hash browns and a "griddle" side. I asked the waitress if the Belgian waffles were crispy and she said they were. Guess what? It was! Beautiful breakfast, and honestly... Between all the places that I've gone for breakfast, they have the best coffee. The service was fast and my waitress was cheery. My omelette was fluffy and beautiful, the hashbrowns were crispy, and my waffle was crispy. Of course I had to ask for more "buttah". I just LOVE buttah, LOL! I really enjoyed my breakfast, and I will definitely be back. Yum.

Came here for a quick family breakfast. Ordered the French toast and was extremely disappointed. It was literally just dry bread (not soaked in anything at all), not moist at all. The server could not answer questions about why it was that way. How does a breakfast restaurant not know how to make French toast?! Chilaquiles were super spicy and the egg was undercooked and could not be eaten.
