The good news first: The smell of pho outside of the restaurant was amazing. And the interior was pleasant and looked clean. The disclaimer: I only ordered water and a bowl of pho tai, so I can only rate those items. The water was served at room temperature, and the pho was mediocre. I ordered pho tai, and the taste of the broth was "off." I added lemon and Sriracha, both of which got lost in the flavor of the broth. The beef was not thinly sliced as it normally is served. The worst part of the experience: The service was absolutely terrible! Since I was alone, I sat at the bar. I thought service would be attentive and fast since three people were constantly walking back and forth directly in front of me. I was wrong. I waited a dry long time to place my order, then they served me the wrong item so I had to wait longer. They brought my soup, I added Sriracha that was on the bar but had to stop someone to ask for the bean sprouts, lemon and mint which is traditionally served at the same time. I was never asked if I needed anything else, including a refill of my water. And I wasn't thanked or said goodbye to when I left. It's unfortunate that the service was so bad that I won't return because the menu looked fantastic and I would have liked to try the other items on the menu.

Came in on a Tuesday morning a few minutes after they had opened . We were greeted right away & were able to order quickly once seated - The decor is so cute & modern. I had ordered #25 bun bo hue & my mother had ordered #20 rib bone phone along side with some fried rice (#34) . Everything was excellent, the meat was so tender & the broth had such a great umami flavor to it that it was damn near addicting which made every bite bursting with flavor . Will definitely be coming back, with more people to enjoy

Great oxtail pho. So tasty and tender. Love the Shanghai dumplings too. The service was friendly and the ambiance suitable for lunch and dinner with cocktails.

Very clean, and cozy place. Pho broth is bit sweeter than other places but decent portion and good meat slices.

I'm at Vpho at 930 W Hamilton Ave, #110,Campbell CA 95008 (Safeway Plaza next to Domino's) This is a fairly new place that replaced a noodle house. The menu is very extensive from Pot Stickers, Avocado Cheese Ragoons to Lobster Surf and Turf Pho. Tonight, I had the Supreme Shaken Beef, Cheese & Avocado Rangoon with a Thai Ice Tea with Pearl. Really Good! I saw what others had ordered and everything looked really great. The service was attentive and all employees worked as a team to provide Superior Service. The only negative thing was the menu showed a Trio Sorbet as a dessert item. This is one of my favorite top desserts! The server was very nice and told me upfront they didn't have any. I'm not going to deduct this as sometimes restaurants run out of things. The ambience was clean, nicely spaced tables, and family friendly with great parking. I really like Vpho and plan to be one of their regular customers.

Pho was not good when I went. Feel kind of bad leaving this review but I couldn't finish my meal. The broth was very spice-heavy, either like cardamom or or star anise or something. It was so strong that I couldn't taste the lemon and sriracha i put it in. Also I like msg, but maybe this had too much? The pho made me feel so sleepy after The noodles were also soggy

Honestly the food was not bad but I must say the service was TERRIBLE! I went here thinking it would be a nice night out but immediately introduced to poor customer service. No energy at all and basically felt like they wanted to get my order over with. I overlooked it until they served me and did not bring the garnish that usually comes with a typical pho dish. I asked politely for it and they took over 10 mins and when I finally went up they just rolled their eyes and brought it over and dropped it on the table. I was baffled by this service (this is coming from someone who worked at a pho). The bun bo hue had no spice at all and made this trip even more disappointing. If anyone would like to know the server it was Howard. :) there’s a lot better pho restaurant in the area so go check them out besides this one!

Delightful Dining Experience at VPHO Restaurant! From the moment I stepped into VPHO, I knew I was in for a treat. The welcoming ambiance combined with the tantalizing aromas wafting from the kitchen set the stage for an unforgettable culinary journey. First up, the Garlic Noodle with Pork and Egg - an absolute masterpiece! The noodles were perfectly cooked, infused with rich garlic flavor, and complemented by tender pork and a perfectly cooked egg. Each bite was a symphony of flavors that left me craving for more. Next, I indulged in the Asian Vermicelli Bowl, a refreshing and vibrant dish that captured the essence of Asian cuisine. The vermicelli was impeccably prepared, paired with an array of fresh vegetables and topped with a delectable sauce that added a delightful tanginess to the dish. It was a true delight for the senses! And let's not forget about the Fish Sauce Wings - a true standout! Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and coated in a savory fish sauce glaze that was simply irresistible. Each bite was bursting with flavor, leaving me reaching for more until every last wing had vanished. Aside from the phenomenal food, the service at VPHO was top-notch. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. In conclusion, my experience at VPHO Restaurant was nothing short of spectacular. From the mouthwatering Garlic Noodle with Pork and Egg to the refreshing Asian Vermicelli Bowl and the addictive Fish Sauce Wings, every dish was a culinary masterpiece. Coupled with impeccable service, VPHO has undoubtedly earned its place as a must-visit dining destination.

service was great! the place is cute but it was freezing because they keep the doors open. there were also a LOT of flying bugs hovering which was annoying. food was decent. got the rib bone and oxtail phos. broth was good in both. rib bone meat was out of this world--tender and so flavorful. oxtails weren't...tender. they prob weren't browned before stewing and it just makes the meat very chewy. oxtails should melt, and these didn't. overall good, we'd come back!

Went to Vpho after a workout at the gym. Just needed a small bowl of pho after sweating out some meanness. The pho was very good, but only large. No small, so be prepared to have your tummy sloshing as you walk out the door. Friendly service and an interesting decor that reminded me of a cross between a nightclub and a sushi bar. Forgot I was in a mini mall. Will be back.

After a show in the San Jose area, we decided to see what was open for late-night eats. VPho popped up on Yelp, so we called to ensure they were open since it was Lunar New Year's night. They were open! They are located in an outdoor strip mall, so parking is plentiful. The place looked clean and modern. Though looking over the menu and found their hot tea was listed for $2.50? Hot tea used to be a given at any Asian restaurant. I guess that isn't the case anymore. We were served cold water. We asked for hot water to warm us up from the cold weather. At least we know that's free. Here's what we ordered: RIB BONE PHO - Filet mignon and beef back rib in special broth cooked for 3+ hrs. They ran out of fresh noodles (which would have cost another $1) so my bf had the thin noodles. Nothing special and it wasn't enough to fill him. 3/5 VEGETARIAN PHO - Chayote, mushroom, carrot, fried tofu, vegan beef slices, thin rice noodles in savory vegetable broth. My friend ordered this and said it was ok. 3/5 RICE NOODLES VERMICELLI (chicken) - Choice of grilled meat, vermicelli noodles, fresh herbs, veggies, egg roll, nuoc cham dipping sauce. I ordered this dish since they didn't have fresh noodles for soup. This is my go-to dish when I don't eat soup noodles. The noodle texture was ok, chicken was charred with grill marks, egg rolls looked more like Chinese egg rolls or lumpia and not Vietnamese egg rolls made using rice wrappers, lots of bean sprouts which I typically don't eat, some pickled carrots, mint leaves and lettuce. It was average tasting and nothing to write home about. Also average amount of food for the price. Glad I wasn't starving. 3/5 They seem to charge for little things that are free at other restaurants. Chinese tea houses usually charge for tea, since you're going there for dim sum and you get to choose which tea you'll be having plus you get a whole pot. And to have fresh noodles vs thin noodles, there shouldn't be a charge for that. Here, they charge a $1! Sadly, why are restaurants trying to nickel and dime their customers? When that happens, customers tend to go elsewhere.

This is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants. I went there with my family. We had soups and shaken beef. The food, service and atmosphere all were perfect. The restaurant is new, beautiful and a hidden gem.
