Ordered the Lamb Chop. Food was only lukewarm warm. Others food was good but mine was liking sitting too long. Sent back. They asked me if I wanted a new one or just to heat it up. First time a restaurant would ever ask this question. No compensation off the bill.
We went there for my husband's birthday, but the service was disappointing. Our first server took a long time to bring the drinks and never came back to take our food order. Another server noticed and helped us, which we really appreciated. Later, our red wine also took forever to arrive, and by the time it came, our steak had already gotten cold. The food was fine, but the service really let us down on such a special night.
Food was fantastic, as usual. Servers are always amazing and the DJ sets the perfect tone in the restaurant. No corkage fee is a huge plus for date nights too!
Brussels Sprout appetizer almost raw. Coconut shrimp, didn't taste like shrimp, tasted like chicken. Had to ask them to turn down the music, couldn't hear each other, which they did. Server was GREAT.
Service very slow at first. Took 20 min to get a drink after sitting at the table. Rib-eye was not a great quality cut. Have had much better steak at other restaurants. I've tried steak here several times and never overly impressed. Side dishes are good though. So was the cocktail once we got it,
Willard Hicks in Campbell delivers a top-notch steakhouse experience from start to finish. The moment we walked in, we were met with a warm welcome and an upscale atmosphere β stylish yet comfortable, perfect for a nice night out. We started with the poblano cornbread and calamari, both outstanding. The cornbread had just the right balance of sweetness and spice, while the calamari was crisp and perfectly seasoned. For mains, we ordered the ribeye and the peppercorn New York strip β both cooked exactly to our liking, juicy and full of flavor. The sides were equally impressive: the pancetta mac and cheese was rich and decadent, and the baked potato was classic and satisfying. The service was excellent throughout the evening. Our waiter was very attentive and genuine. This was a superb place to celebrate a birthday or any special occasion for that matter. Looking forward to the next visit!
Our experience was very good. The scallops with wild mushrooms was excellent, as well as the steak & frites! The burger was so big he had to take half home. The only disappointment was the grilled swordfish which was very dry but the apple slaw that came with it was good. Our server was polite and didn't rush us. Great place to go with friends! We tend to go during the week when it's quieter.
We had a great experience at Willard Hicks. The food was delicious and the server was fantastic. He responded to our questions and made good suggestions. All of the servers were excellent.
Dinner started rough wit a 30 minute wait for a round of drinks and one was incorrect. That was resolved by the quality of our waiter however. Can't say enough about the service, incredible staff at the tables. The food was exactly what I expected for the price range and atmosphere, we left completely satiated, and will be back regularly when in town on business.
Business seems to be fading. Waited asked us for our entree and we hadn't even received our drinks after 10 minutes. π€¬ WTF?!!

I've always liked Willard Hicks and thought it would be a great spot to celebrate my birthday with my family since I've had good meals here in the past. Sadly, this visit was a total letdown. The place was half empty (which should've been a clue), and service was painfully slow. We started with a Caesar salad, burgers for the kids, crabcakes, and some whiskey drinks. The drinks were good, the crabcakes were solid, and the burgers were decent β but it took forever for everything to come out. When our mains arrived, things went downhill fast. I ordered a filet mignon with Brussels sprouts and mac & cheese, while my husband got swordfish. The Brussels sprouts were mushy and tasted old, the mac & cheese came out cold, and my steak was fatty (which should never be the case for a filet). When I told our server, she brushed it off saying the Brussels sprouts are made in a batch so βthey all taste like that.β I canceled them, but it still took 15β20 minutes to get a replacement mac & cheese. By then, my steak was cold and my husband had already finished his fish. The worst part? No apology, no comp, no effort to make things right. For a birthday dinner, it was just really disappointing. I used to recommend this place, but after this experience, I'm not sure I'll be back.
We were late because I miscalculated the travel time. I called the restaurant to tell them we will be late and they were gracious and told me no problem. When we arrived in the area, we had a problem finding parking so we were really late-about 15 minutes. When we arrived at the restaurant, we checked in and realized why the hostess was gracious about our tardiness. The restaurant was almost empty. I started getting nervous about the food. π¬ So we were seated and we ordered. We ordered the ribeye and the New York strips with baked potatoes for both sides and a carpaccio and a Brussels sprouts for a shared side. We each had our own cocktails (hubby had two). Overall, the food (all of it) was mehhh....bland. For half the price, I'll go to outback next time. Better meat and bread at Outback! Will NOT be coming back.
We celebrated our 9th anniversary here. Hubby and I started with a cocktail. I had the Abigail and he had the sidecar. Followed by an appetizer of calamari steak that came with a tartar sauce and a cocktail sauce. For our meal we had the bone in pork chop and the ginger sesame ribeye with a side of green beans. Complimentary dessert of chocolate chip cookie and ice cream. Cocktails - 5/5. Refreshing. Decently priced at $15 per cocktail. Appetizer - 5/5. Garlicky. Tender. The 2 sauces helps to lighten the fried items. The calamari steak pieces were not greasy at all. Pork chop - 4.5/5. Waitress said it's suppose to be cooked to a medium but it was almost all done. No pinkness at all. Bordering on dry. It came with a side of Mashed potato and roasted Brussel sprouts. The sides were delicious. Other then the temperature being off, the dish was great. Ribeye - 3.5/5. Hubby asked for medium well but it was rare to medium rare. That particular cut had a lot of sinew and it made it difficult to eat, especially with their dull steak knives. I didn't like that it was served on a wooden cutting board. Idk how many times it's been used and how much "stuff" is embedded into the wood grains. The shiitaki mushroom ponzu ginger glaze was too salty for my liking. The crispy onion strings didn't belong. Green bean side - 3/5. Incredibly salty. Almost wished I had rice to accompany it, but that wouldn't help balance it out. Dessert - 3/5. Complimentary for our anniversary. The description sounded awesome. Warm chocolate chip cookie paired with a refreshing scoop of ice cream. Cookie was not warm or gooey. Ice cream was bland. But it's the thought that counts right? Great atmosphere. Last night was first football game of the season so it was a little louder than I'd expect it to be. Staff were attentive. Overall 4/5.
The service was barely par for the course and the food was bland. Needless to say I won't be going back. Total disappointment!!!ππΌ
The service at Willard Hicks is top-notch. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive without being intrusive. They offered excellent recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant itself has a lively, yet not overly loud, atmosphere, making it a great spot for a special occasion or a nice night out. While it's a splurge, the quality of the food, the generous portion sizes, and the fantastic service make Willard Hicks well worth it. It's a place where you can count on a memorable dining experience.
