I don't usually give negative reviews, but if you want to be told what to order and how to eat your food the Japanese way, questioned for ordering certain items and being constantly told that you should get a different item because what you ordered is not available even though it's on the menu, then check this place out. I must say that the few pieces of sushi that I had were fresh and good but I have to say that their customer service was horrible. It was so horrible that my husband and I couldn't believe it actually happened. Therefore, that would be our first and last visit to this place.

Very friendly service. She explained the menu to us and was very polite. Had the baked salmon and the energetic dragon. They were both delicious. The baked salmon was the best. I also like that the crab meat didn't have a lot of mayo in the mix. It's usually too strong for me at other sushi places. I would definitely come here again.

We went on a Saturday night and there was one only other couple about to leave when we sat down. The service was... not great, but not bad. We had to wait about 15 minutes to get our drinks because the waitress(/owner?) was walking a couple of regulars out to their car. We were about to walk out when she finally came back in. I'm so glad we didn't leave.

First time visiting this place and we were very pleased. The lovely waitress gave us a quick sushi lesson and we learned the difference between the americanized sushi and traditional sushi. We even learned the traditional Japanese way to eat sushi, no chopsticks involved. We will definitely be coming back and continue learning about this beautiful culture and its yummy food.

Asako is a really great restaurant that offers an experience you're not going to find anywhere else in Santa Clarita. If you're looking to come in here, have a Philadelphia roll, and leave quickly, then you're better served eating elsewhere. However, if you want to sit, drink, have a good time and make new friends, then this is the place to go! Order omakase, put the menu away, and be prepared to go a bit out of your comfort zone and enjoy a new experience!
Great place. I highly recommend coming here. Their fish, rolls and nigiri are high quality and very delicious. They also offer an authentic Japanese sushi experience. You can have the American style experience too. They do a great job of providing you with what you want. I give them a 5 star for both the quality and presentation. They also get 5 star for providing a high quality experience from beginning to end. It's more than just food, it's a total dining experience. I highly recommend making a trip to visit this place soon.

LOL I have seen most of the bad reviews and I have been here and I love this place!!!! , the thing is that the lady actually is very talkative and not just that but she gives you a tour into her menu. As a matter of fact she teaches you the right way to eat sushi because most of the restaurants they have all Americanized sushi, so this place is not just nice to visit but you'll learn the original sushi, the one from Japan !!!!!

Stopped there last night on reccomendation from a friend while on holiday. I would not hesitate to say that Asako's provided us with some of the best sushi we've ever eaten. Thankyou so much for the wonderful food and hospitality!

I don't even know why I even walked in after seeing the freaky lady working there!!! Not only was she freaky, she was DRUNK!! Just by her speaking I could smell the alcohol off her. I was with my friends with 2 babies, and she came poking one of them in the belly, then decided to reach and carry him. Ummm okay? What makes you think you can touch or even think about carrying my child, DRUNK and FREAKY looking. This all happened while ordering our food. We all just grabbed our stuff and left. Just remembering her face makes me sick!! Alsooo!! I'm sure whoever gave a 5 star review has been paid!!! Do not go!!!! This place deserves no stars
