Wow I am so happy I found this restaurant. Doesn't seem like much from the outside but oh my goodness it is nice on the inside. I love the vibes. I've gone in this shopping center plenty times and I have never seen this place and I thank yelp for making it known! Wow there food is so good! Super authentic and tastes homemade. Reasonable prices. Huge portions and super filling food. I want to try more!!! Servers were great!! They are super understaffed here and were working their butts off! Making sure we were okay, getting us drinks very fast, making sure to recognize that we were waiting and rushing to get to us despite it being busy! and it still didn't take as long as other places where they do have the staff!! Also they are super friendly! It seemed like many people who were there were friends with the servers! And that says something about the service! I loved how cute the inside of this place looked and honestly I wasn't expecting it to look this way from the outside. It is much bigger than it looks on the outside and way nicer too. Comfy booths and big tables for large parties! I am happy I came here and I am so happy this exists in SCV! I feel like we don't have that many good authentic Mexican restaurants, and this is definitely one of the good ones! So excited to come back and taste more of the food!

I have heard nothing but good things about this place. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was great. The people who worked there seemed like friends to their customers and knew alot of them by name. I had to wait a bit to be helped but it gave me a chance to observe and I liked what I saw.

Was in the Santa Clarita area today, and of course I was craving Mexican food per usual, and found Lorena D's. It had good reviews and photos so it definitely won me over! For my food I ordered the chicken tostada, a la carte cheese enchilada, and since it was happy hour I tried their classic margarita that was only $6.00! The food was pretty decent, the presentation of the tostada was neat and not overwhelming! My drink was really good just enough and a really goof flavor to it! My enchilada was good could have had a bit more flavor but was still satisfying! They also have 3 different salsas, one mild, medium, and spicy. My fav was the spicy green sauce! It had so much flavor and spicy just how I like it ! The service was top notch! Exceptional all the above! I had Kevinn as my server and he was amazing! Attentive! Gave good recommendations, and knew the menu well. The other waitress, who maybe a family to the owners was very amicable, and a very good personality! She was not my waiter and she stayed helping out and making sure I was ok. I definitely would tell ya, to come here for happy hour! That have it from Tues- Thurs from 2-6pm. They have a lot of good food and alcohol options to choose from for reasonable prices. It's a family owned business and very cozy inside with just enough seats. It's not really modern but decent and well kept up. It's easy to park, They have a parking lot where it's a lot of parking spots. Overall, I will come back again to support! -Marshay D.

Tonight was my first time trying Lorena D's restaurant. It's a hidden gem. My dinner was amazing. Crispy Chicken Taco with Cheese Enchilada. So good!! Servers were very polite as well as friendly. I am looking forward to going back for breakfast.
so been hearing about this place, it use to be Betitos, so finally came today. Cute quiet place. No one to seat us, so just went ahead and found a table. Now am Mexican American by way of El Paso Texas I know good Mexican food. I had 2 enchiladas de queso, good. Also ordered the appetizer with nachos, chimichangas, and taquitos. that was nasty on the quesadilla the edges were burned, and it was a corn tortilla cut in half. 2 taquitos cut in half one chimichanga cut in half. some chips with beans on top. All that was 16.00 Damm that's a lot of money for that, La Cocina is about $2 more but a much larger plate and more on it and not burned and you get chicken wings also. and the 2 cheese enchiladas a la carte to my surprise came out to be $15.00. Oh! an a bottle of Corona was $9.00 never again not for me, I will stick to La Cocina

I walked in and NO ONE greeted me for about 5 minutes, so I left! I have no idea how their food tastes, but greeting me as a customer was not very professional!

Absolutely one of the best Mexican restaurants in town. The food is top notch. Love the chile relleno and the enchilada lunch special. Always tasty. Warm atmosphere, wonderful and courteous service. Family run and their pride is reflected in how well they treat their customers. A genuine Mexican establishment.
