Plumas Pines Bar & Grill

We had a pleasant experience with our server, Alex, who was both attentive and personable. We made a reservation for nine people at 5:30 PM, but unfortunately, our food took about two hours to arrive. When we brought this to the attention of the manager, she explained that there were two larger parties seated before us. We were a bit surprised by this, as we were the only large group of nine, and it seemed that some large parties who arrived after us were served before us. We would have appreciated a brief acknowledgment of the wait and an apology for the oversight. The manager, however, did comp our appetizers and drinks, which we appreciated.

Incredible lake side dining!! Enjoyed the Smoke House specialty menu for the 4th of July weekend. We always make sure to eat here every time we come to the family lake house. We love Plumas Pines

Chef James brought a new menu to Plumas Pines by adding his own flavors to old favorites and also replacing favs for an updated menu. I had the Walnut Salmon Cooked to perfection! Chef James also has great humor! Came of of the kitchen and spoke to us and I can see this guy is not going leave anytime soon hopefully! Stephanie as always as all around hostess everything needs to be queen always is cheerful and smiling with smiles! Alex was mia, but we loved her funny on Friday night opening! Drinks were great! Tea is available! Views from inside still showed the white caps of Lake Almanor and we sat inside and could still see the stunning views even if We couldn't sit outside in the blustery wind and cold! Thanks everyone!

Delicious food from start to finish with excellent service by Jaris all with a view of beautiful Lake Almanor! We had a fantastic experience and look forward to dining at Plumas Pines Resort Bar & Grill again.

Chicken fried steak and fish and chips tasty and perfect temperature. Lovely fume blanc wine. Service excellent and lovely view of lake from the deck.

Awesome atmosphere and service. Great food and beverages. Located right on Lake Almanor. If you are in the area, a must stop on your itinerary.

Went here for our anniversary and made reservations. We were going to be stuck inside. Had to wait some. Server was great. Good was okay for the price, but it's definitely something we could make at home.

We were a little early for our reservation and I was letting the hostess know. She got kind of snotty with me like I was asking to be sat now! Which I wasn't. Server was overwhelmed which made service slow, but not her fault. Food was ok. I didn't see what everyone else thought was so special about this place.

Plumas Pines Bar and Grill offers a little piece of heaven right on beautiful Lake Almanor. We were seated outside on the deck and our drink order was taken and brought to us right away. My fish and chips were delicious...best fries ever! The Pene Pasta with chicken (or shrimp) was wonderful. The house made cheese cake was a nice topper with my coffee. The lake was a perfect backdrop to a great experience. Make a reservation!

Service was excellent; dining on the deck at 6-7pm was very comfortable, shaded, light breeze; casual with some diners coming in off the lake; salmon special with caper/lemon sauce excellent, cooked perfectly. Pleasant music in the background, not too loud.

We were there last month. It was perfect this month the rare prime rib was well done. Our drinks never came for forever, and our waitress, was oblivious to our cares. We didn't get horseradish this time, which is OK but she said well you should've asked for it if that's what you wanted.
