Plumas Pines Resort & Bar

Great night life atmosphere. Very fun place to go out and party. By far the best bar in this whole region. I thought it was better than any clubs/bars in Reno.

Incredible lake side dining!! Enjoyed the Smoke House specialty menu for the 4th of July weekend. We always make sure to eat here every time we come to the family lake house. We love Plumas Pines

Had reservations for dinner, and the service was excellent. The view was beautiful on the water. Great atmosphere! The only thing we were not happy about was the food was over an hour, and my husbands steak was served cold.

The atmosphere was great. We sat outside on the deck for lunch! The pork tacos were delicious! They tend to be pretty busy I would recommend making a reservation!

Sunday afternoon lunch. Wasn't busy when we got there but got crowded later on. Food was okay unfortunately the service was very slow .

Plumas Pines holds a special place in my memories of childhood. Our band, Whiskey River Band played here last weekend and they welcomed us with open arms and hearts, let us stay in their great rooms, and brought me back to the peaceful shores of Lake Almanor. Thank you!

Chef James brought a new menu to Plumas Pines by adding his own flavors to old favorites and also replacing favs for an updated menu. I had the Walnut Salmon Cooked to perfection! Chef James also has great humor! Came of of the kitchen and spoke to us and I can see this guy is not going leave anytime soon hopefully! Stephanie as always as all around hostess everything needs to be queen always is cheerful and smiling with smiles! Alex was mia, but we loved her funny on Friday night opening! Drinks were great! Tea is available! Views from inside still showed the white caps of Lake Almanor and we sat inside and could still see the stunning views even if We couldn't sit outside in the blustery wind and cold! Thanks everyone!

We have been coming to Plumas Pines for a 4 day fishing trip in Spring and we really enjoy the resort and the Lake. The staff, especially Terri and Quinton, are so welcoming, helpful, and responsive. Our group always look forward to coming back every year. This place is a gem!

I’m a local but only have been here a few times. Never disappoints! Sitting outside with the lake over your shoulder is fabulous! Just remember to ask for a heater when the sun goes down if you start your get cold.

Nearby activities: Boaters can dock in front of restaurant. It’s a popular place for tourists.
