Nice place, great atmosphere. The food was solid, but just missing the final note to be excellent. For example, they offer focaccia on the menu, not complimentary. The bread tastes oily on the tongue and it comes with a side of, not balsamic vinegar which would have made it much better, but olive oil! The farro salad was mostly baby spinach with sprinkles of farro. This kind of near miss. Service was attentive and friendly.
My husband and I had the eggplant dip with the woodfired bread. It was a bit under seasoned, badly in need of some salt. Our main entrées were grilled salmon, and ricotta gnocchi with spicy sausage added. Both were excellent and well cooked. Our server was very prompt and attentive to our needs. we will revisit again soon! Nice atmosphere as well. Bartender makes a great old fashioned!
We had a good experience at Fresco. The food was delicious. It was well prepared and beautifully presented. The shrimp and grits, which are now on the Appetizer list, should be made available as a full entree because it was so savoury. The service was excellent on a very busy night. We definitely recommend this restaurant.
