Food was pretty good but service/experience was NOT good. Menu was cut in half. Food took forever and nothing came out together. It took 1 hour for 3 pizzas, 2 kids meals, and 2 salads. The explanation was some sort of kitchen issue. On account of the multiple issues, I would not choose to dine here again despite how conveniently it is located within Sheraton resort.

Interesting spaces and menu has some interesting features. The restaurant is too understaffed and service takes a long time. The existing staff are working hard but they can't keep up and as a result the ordering is slow and food takes a long time to arrive.

Mission: Steak Fries & a Bomb Burger 🍔🍟 For my lady's birthday, all she wanted was a juicy burger and some thick-cut fries—our well-earned cheat meal. 📍 7Mile popped up on Yelp & OT—so we booked it. 🛑 Surprise! It's inside the Sheraton, which meant easy parking but also... lots of families. 🧱 LEGO LAND kids everywhere! Totally makes sense—it's a prime spot for visiting parents and their little adventurers. 🚪 The Waiting Game: Took a while to get seated (they seemed a little understaffed). Service was slow—about 20 min for drinks, another 20 for food orders, then 30 min for the meal. Ambiance? Nice decor, but lots of background noise from excited kiddos. 📜 The Menu: Pretty simple, like something you'd find at a resort. 🍔 The Food: Solid! The burger and fries were tasty, but the long wait and busy atmosphere took away from the experience. 👍 Final Verdict: If you're staying at the hotel with family, it's a convenient spot for a good meal. But if you're looking for a relaxed, intimate dinner? Probably not the best fit.

Took 10 minutes for buss boy to get someone to take our order, very kind of him to work hard to find someone for us. It was our 2nd night having the margarita pizza and it was a completely different pizza than the night before. Very inconsistent. Waiter was great once we got him to come take our order but food was just ok. The first night the pizza was great when we got it to go.

🚩🚩🚩 Dont waste your time! My family and I spent the week of Christmas vacation at the Hilton Grand Vacation resort. Each morning we explored different restaurants within the surrounding compound and this location was the WORST!! Being that it was the holidays we made sure to make a reservation (10:15am) and arrive timely. Upon arrival we were met with an empty hostess stand and two other families waiting. In observing the space every single table that was not occupied with guests was filled with dirty dishes. I counted 9 all visible from the front area. As we waited the staff ignored us. No greeting, eye contact, no brief update/apology, no effort to take our name. Nothing. After 15 minutes one staff came over still avoiding eye contact with me and my family started speaking with the other family. Through active listening, I learned there was a party of 9 and 4. Neither had a reservation. The party of 9 was helped first. When the staff member returned she went to the party of 4 family waiting saying ‘ you all were here first correct?’ I immediately jumped in and said we had a 10:15 reservation time. (Which by then was well beyond time), I insisted she continue to seat them. She apologized and continued with the party. By then another 10 minutes had passed. She approached again asked us how many in our party. We informed her and followed up with a question of what’s going on with service here today. She replied lack of staff so the main focus was attending to dining guests to get food out. (This should always be the goal, incoming guest experience shouldn’t be compromised with way). We were walked to our table facing the pool and outside bar area. No silverware. Dirty/dusty table. Our drink order was taken. Half party wanted decaf unfortunately unavailable as coffee machine was down. Only regular. Strange. Our waiter soon followed. We ordered. Food came out but was Mediocre at best. Clearly there is a management issue here and it needs to be addressed. Several members in my family have years of restaurant and hospitality experience. Sheraton and who ever runs 7mile need to be evaluated. I’m happy to talk to corporate about this issue. We honestly should’ve been refunded for the very overpriced meal. Do not recommend this establishment. New management needed ASAP.

I thought that Henry was an amazing waiter. I would highly recommend him to anyone dining at the restaurant

They brought out half the food and then waited 15 minutes to bring the other half. Most of the orders had some sort of issue and the overall taste was and quality comparable to Chilis.

Opentable Diner

Disappointed that the main attraction, pizzas, were not available due to their oven being broken. That left mostly burgers which my family said we're good but I thought they were overpriced.

Unfortunately this restaurant wasn't being managed on the day after Christmas! Dirty dishes on tables all over the restaurant upon arrival. I've never been to a restaurant where I made a reservation on Open Table and there was no host and no manager in view to greet customers. If this restaurant wasn't on site at the timeshare I was staying at, my family would have left immediately. We will suggest going to any fast food establishment over this restaurant for breakfast. Food was cold and priced well above the quality. Sorry to be so negative in this review but sometimes the truth hurts. They certainly could do a lot better! Take your chances and find out if you dare.

The breakfast was terrible. The breakfast potatoes were dry like they were reheated from the day before and had sat in a refrigerator overnight. I know left overs. In the Breakfast scramble the bacon and ham were also very dry. I felt like I was eating the dry burned turkey in the Christmas Vacation movie scene. It was almost impossible to chew. It required a lot of chewing. Never again. Try Westin or leave the venue for food.

Really cool little hotel bar and breakfast restaurant, didn’t catch our bartenders name last night (10/23) and our server for breakfast Jose, were absolutely great. Really appreciated the great service and good food!

The indoor outdoor concept is also nice in this lovely weather

The pizza we ordered looked frozen and it was void of any type of flavour. I looked at other pictures I found about your restaurant but what we received was just poor. The nachos we had were just weird they had some cream cheese like goo on the nachos they were cold. All it all cardboard pizza for $28.00 and some random starter. We both left feeling empty and we went a got candy bar and went home. For a Sheraton resort I expect a lot more. I won't be coming back...

I had such a wonderful dinner this weekend with my 12 & 9 yr old kids. The restaurant is located in the Sheraton Carlsbad, conveniently behind Legoland (where we had spent the day). The hostess was welcoming, our server was kind, and even the gentleman filling waters (always so sweet). Great value with the kids meal and overall delicious food. I loved the salmon burger with tater tots. Quiet setting was just what we needed after a busy day and loved sitting outside on a cool night. We'll be back!

The server was nice and attentive. The food was not great. We had the peppers as an appetizer but didn't like the taste/quality of the oil they used to prepare them. I had the salmon burger which was not that tasty and fell apart easily as I ate it. The salad citrus dressing was also strange tasting. The ice cream was good but you can only get one flavor in a single order. When they brought it it was a big bowl and could have easily fit two or even three flavors in one serving like so many gelaterias do. I would ask them to change that rule.
