The coastal Carlsbad eatery, 7 Mile Kitchen (@7milekitchen ) just launched a new spring menu featuring a collection of signature cocktails and tasty bites. New to the cocktail menu are locally inspired libations such as the Heaven In Carlsbad, West Coast Marg, and San Diego Sour. To pair with the cocktails, new burger selections include creative creations such as the Mac & Cheese Burger made with house mac and cheese and the Kimchi Burger made with garlic aioli, kimchi, pork belly, and fried egg. Perfect for sharing, the menu also features specialty pizzas made fresh in the wood-fire oven such as my favorite, the spicy sausage pizza. Come try the new spring menu! We tried: * Heaven in Carlsbad * West coast Marg * Chicken Wings: choice of buffalo, bba, pineapple habanero, honey bourbon glaze, tajin-lime, gochujang glaze * Soft pretzel sticks: whipped mustard butter and beer cheese sauce * BIt chopped salad * Sweet and Spicy sausage pizza: fennel sausage, caramelized onions, fresno chiles, ricotta, San Marzano * Miso salmon * Steak and Frites * Dulce de leche cheesecake

We went for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Henry was our server. He was FANTASTIC! So knowledgeable about the menu. Remembered our order, with every substitution, without writing anything down. Extremely friendly. Go see him!! Food was excellent and came out quickly.

Great service by Henry! Cute little restaurant close to the pool. Food is good and reasonable priced for hotel restaurant.

We had an early dinner on Saturday. The place is situated in the Sheraton hotel. The staff was plenty busy. The hostess was really nice. We ordered the mushroom pizza and the kimchi burger both were really good. I would recommend the burger. The patty was well blended and the addition of the pork belly made it better. I like the tanginess of the kimchi.

We recently visited 7 Mile after being intrigued by their appealing menu and promising photographs. Our experience, however, was mixed. First, the whipped feta we ordered was disappointing--it was dense and chunky, almost as though it had been hand-squeezed from a block of feta, rather than being light and airy as advertised. While it had a good flavor, it was not prepared as described. The chicken wings we tried were a highlight, delivering on both taste and texture. Our order included three burgers which were satisfactory, and a chicken sandwich that had some appealing flavors but was let down by the disproportionate size of the chicken relative to the bun. The biggest letdown was the children's pizza, which had an overpowering taste of propane that detracted significantly from the meal. In summary, while there were some enjoyable elements, the overall experience did not justify the high prices. Considering the wealth of better value options in the vicinity, I find it hard to recommend 7 Mile for those seeking good culinary experiences within a reasonable budget. The service was extraordinary!
