Great service and super friendly staff! They made us feel welcome and well taken care of. A really pleasant experience — highly recommend!

A mediocre Mexican restaurant which is silly when it's this close to the Mexican border.

We were on a vacation trip and decided to try this place based on the reviews and the fact that we were craving Mexican food. My wife had the cheese enchiladas and I had the carne asada casa burrito. Both were wonderful choices and probably the best Mexican food we have had in the past 20 years or so. The service was unremarkable but not too bad. The food more than made up for the lackluster service by being so flavorful and having good portions. This is definitely going on our list for future vacation trips in the area.

Good food, authentic with the best salsa and chips in town. We really like this place and the reasonable prices.

I enjoyed sitting on the patio people-watching. I liked watching the trains go by too.

All the food here is excellent. Atmosphere is casual and relaxing on the patio. Service is always top notch. Would highly recommend if you are looking for some solid Mexican food in a beautiful environment.

Great Mexican place just in the middle of Carlsbad village, they have patio seating and they sell food for your dog too (grilled steak n chicken) so it's the perfect place to stop for brunch during a walk with your dog

Their drinks are really good too

Wow, the food here is really great!
The veggie burrito is awesome, whether or not you are vegetarian. Green tamales are great and so is the chips and salsa. They have a robust, homemade taste to them.

To start off… I’m a local my entire life and decided to try this spot out finally. The waitress ( blonde ) was terrible honestly and rode off on her bike midway through our order. I had to get my own utensils, napkins etc. she was really truly the worst waitress I’ve had in a VERY LONG TIME if not the worst. It also took 45 minutes to get our food.My wife ended up getting food poisoning off the grilled salmon. Upon everything we had to pay quite a bit for this meal and I 110% regret it and will tell everyone not to go here.

Worst taco Tuesday ever. Awful service. Mad that we came at 7pm. Apparently they get to go home early if there’s no one else. Awful attitude. Wrong drink. Never came to see if we needed anything. I’m a local and wow…never again.
