Came for a birthday celebration and had to wait a little but our chef Nick was amazing. The other family sharing the table tried to badmouth him and lied to get their bill compensated. The food and the service was outstanding. He was so nice and engaged with everyone the entire time. And the food like I said was the best I've had from there ever. From now on we will always request him, I suggest you do too! This was the Carlsbad location

Trevor took care of us tonight and I am not joking when i say i was crying laughing at his jokes. It's been a long time since ive laughed that hard. Trevor deserves a raise!!! All the food was cooked to perfection especially the steak... and the shrimp... and the chicken.. and like all the veggies and rice. gotta mention the ambiance just to check that box off.

Chef Michael was amazing, been to different benihanas and all of the chefs rices were either too bland or had too much soy sauce, but he has it down to a tea. Very entertaining and he's definitely worth requesting.

Had a reservation for 7.45, and at 8.10, learned there were 2 more tables ahead of us not seated yet. Lobby wound up full of people, had a three year old with us so we had to cancel this plan and head somewhere else. Poor planning and overbooking lead to a poor experience in this location.
