Better Buzz Coffee Carlsbad

Just a Starbucks wanabe with just slightly better coffee than starbucks. If you are into and appreciate fine coffee don't come here. Pick one of the other excellent coffee shops in Carlsbad. Poorly trained barista gave me what was supposed to be a cappuccino just airy milk on top of mediocre coffee. The milk wasn't smooth and frothy at all. Pannekin which isn't far away is a much better place. But this has a great location.

Love Better Buzz in the Village! Ignacio was super friendly and even made me an exclusive maple matcha that was delicious. The coffee is always great and the breakfast hits the spot. Definitely one of my go-to places!

I freaking love this spot!! The pumpkin chai latte literally makes my day. Every single sip is amazing. Joe who’s made my drink for me a couple times now is also so kind and generous! He’s a fast worker!

The coffee is rich tasting yet mellow. Excellent blend. The service was great and the space is clean and comfy. The sandwiches are a cut above and pastries look sinful.

Shoutout to Joe at Better Buzz Carlsbad! He greeted us with so much positivity and totally set the tone for the whole staff. My matcha was delicious, and even my daughter noticed how uplifting he was. Joe’s energy = instant good vibes. 🐝💚✨

Came in around 11:30-12 for lunch and was greatful for very excellent food and service although a mothers child threw up in the lobby and made one of the baristas clean the mess while the other was forced to make drinks. Too my surprise by herself. Why is a location so understaffed at this time of day i work as a manager for starbucks and even my stores are never understaffed and in the small cases of being understaffed we are most times allowed to close early. This seems very unfair to the workers that are left alone at the store suffering their mental over work.

Kandy was amazing even under the pressure of a long line and a lot of people waiting. Seems there’s an issue with corporate not hiring enough people. I would give 5 stars just for her but lowered it to 3 since there should be more staff to help her.

Really beautiful Better Buzz location. Literally a block from the beach, the store is open and bright with inside and outside seating. The team (big team when we visited) go out of their way to take good care of you, make your drinks and food perfectly, and get everything to you quickly. It was my first time here, so I had to go ask about 4 times for things - where is the sugar? (easy to find outside, but the barista gave me some), may I have a bowl for water for our dog? (He went in back and found a bigger bowl just for her). They were 109% patient with all my interruptions and 100% fast and helpful. Really great visit.

Title: Fantastic first visit at Better Buzz Coffee

I stopped by Better Buzz Coffee for my first visit and tried the Mango Buzz Energy Smoothie. The flavor was fantastic—bright, refreshing, and nicely balanced. Great value too, with a good-sized portion that left me feeling satisfied without being overwhelmed.

The staff mentioned an avocado toast, and I decided to give it a try. It was absolutely wonderful—creamy avocado, nicely seasoned, and perfectly toasted bread. The staff member Haley was absolutely wonderful and made the experience even better.

Overall, a standout experience. I’ll be back for sure and will recommend you visit to.
