Beautiful place bad management. Walked in for the first time and the workers were having a good time chatting it up. Ordered my house brewed coffee. Minutes later I wondered why I hadn't received it because she didn't pour it from right behind her at the register. Never saw anyone wipe a table clean. I saw a worker come out of the restroom before I went in. She didn't empty the trash or pick up the little pieces of toilet paper on the floor.

I absolutely love better buzz! Randomly came across this coffee joint when visiting san diego last year, and now we make it a point to stop by during our vacations. The Best Drink Ever is truly the best drink ever, highly recommended, as well as their Chocolate Coussinets! Now only if they opened a location in Las Vegas...

New coffee place in Carlsbad. Just started coming here recently with my dance mom friends. I've been here a total of 4 times and love the ambiance here. Right now it's been cold and they are required to keep the windows open and the fans blasting inside... so us middle age women come here and we are freeeezing Although, this would be a prime location when the sun comes out. The coffee is just ok - I've tried of their sweet drinks: Hazelnut Divinity, honey latte, and Best Drink Ever. They didnt blow me out of the water so i opted for a regular latte (sweetened myself) during my last visit and was quite satisfying. One thing I wish is thst thr coffee would be made hotter. I keep forgetting to ask for "extra hot". Their avocado toast was a bit bland (needs something like more salt on it) and also tried their cinnamon roll which was quite yummy. BTW they do have some helpful servers who were really nice and answered all of our questions about the coffee menu. A great place to hang out with friends and have a cup of coffee.

Initially we were really excited for Better Buzz Carlsbad to open as we are big fans of both their Encinitas and San Marcos locations. The positive is that the drinks and pastries are good. However, my husband and I have found the service consistently rude. Usually we don't really care (and I can sympathize with the fact that they're really busy and that can be stressful as a barista) but our visit yesterday was a huge bummer. I asked about making a drink dairy-free by using almond milk instead (I have a dairy allergy) the girl was super rude and had a bad attitude about it. Really? All I did was ask for almond milk and it is because of a legitimate allergy? I worked in food service for years and was pretty surprised by her reaction... Disappointing experience to say the least. Better off going to one of the many other options in the village.

This was our first breakfast meal while visiting from Tennessee. To be fair, this review is from DoorDash so I can speak to service or ambience, only flavor. I had the horchata iced latte and while it was delicious, I do wish that there was more horchata flavor to it. The snickerdoodle latte and 3 Seed Avocado Toast was delicious!

Coffee is definitely over sweetened. Almost reminds me of an iced coffee I got at a fast food restaurant. Questionable quality attempted to be masked by sugars. Breakfast sandwich was overpriced and just not good.

Usually I’d give the food a 4 and the service a 4 as well. Unfortunately this visit was my worst to date. It took them 20 minutes to warm up a sandwich and make a hot americano.I wasn’t in a rush so I was ok going back n forth a couple of times waiting on the order and I appreciated that they’re busy (not Starbucks busy) but I still appreciate that a local brand can be overwhelmed with a few extra orders. I still support the brand and want to see it grow.My biggest disappointment was the coffee. Now that’s important… I don’t choose a coffee shop just for the vibes or location, coffee matters.I wasn’t expecting my americano to be overflowing with no creme the way it looks in the photo.

First time coming to this location but I am a long time customer of Better Buzz. This location is a block away from the beach and across the street from the shops at the Village. There's an indoor seating area but this location also has a walk up window outside which is super fast! It is busy but they are very fast and efficient! Also the staff is very nice and helpful just like the other locations! My go to drink is the Iced Large Best Drink Ever and I love the Açaí Bowls here!
Stopped in to Order a Hot Coffee to get us down the road.. My friend got his favorite Mocha to keep him Wide Awake. I ordered a large hot White Mocha Latte. Yum, Very Tasty. Victoria was our Friendly Server ~ Service was kinda quick. It was quite busy but it was a Clear and Cold Saturday night on the Eve of Daylight Savings Time so people were out on the sidewalks and crossing the streets to get themselves to where they were heading to tonight. Plenty of Seating with the Sea Air blowing through.. A fun place near the beach to sit and enjoy great coffee drinks while enjoying the scenery on Coast Highway.

Glad there's finally a new location in Carlsbad! It quickly became my go-to after just a week. The drinks are solid and it's an easy spot to write at and lose track of time. All the staff have been pretty friendly and there's one guy with a Bart Simpson pin who's absolute comedy. 10/10 solid place to make your regular coffee stop at

I love this place. I can always count on Dom to make my drink perfectly. He's my favorite barista but everyone there is great. Customer service is fantastic and the place is always super clean. I'm not sure what the other reviews are talking about, Internet full of trolls
