BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse

Had the slow roasted sirloin with asparagus. The strawberry lemonade was great. The chili was nice and hot. When they brought the sirloin it had been dipped in a very sweet sauce which overpowers whatever flavor the sirloin might have had. If that wasn’t enough it was cold and so were the asparagus. They took it back and brought it back lukewarm. I felt sick right after. I shouldn’t have eaten it. Not going back….

We had such a great experience! I got the beef dip which was absolutely delicious and of course a chocolate chip pizookie. Greg was such a great waiter being so attentive and went above and beyond. Will definitely be back for another
date night 💕

My corporate friend pilot and me another corporate pilot had lunch yesterday at this establishment which we've been to a couple times with no issues and we had a waitress Joy a little chubby woman with a serious chip on her shoulder. We watched her talk to other clients with kind of a cynical smartass attitude and knew she was going to be interesting. We told her to please separate the bill and she said okay. Sure enough we get the bill as one and I said we needed it separated. She snaps and says you did not ask me to split it sir! And we said yes and I don't appreciate your getting defensive. She was horrible and I will and we will not be going back. I will notify the other pilots and fbos to avoid this place for hiring such people!

They forgot our starters. My grand daughters food came 20 minutes after the adult food. Not happy. Don't plan to return .

Terrible service. We ordered soup and salad and sat there for 40 minutes and were not served, while others who arrived after us were served.

We have the most amazing server. I think her name is Eleanor, but she also goes by L. She was so attentive and professional. It was a great evening. I enjoyed my membership to BJ's and look forward to being there again if you ever have a commercial on TV I'd like to be your star. Happy new year.

Awful experience. All our food was freezing cold. Men's restroom was overflowing and the employees cleaning it up weren't wearing gloves?!?!

I really want to thank BJ's in Carlsbad for giving us a wonderful family dinner environment. We don't often get together with all the busy lives, but this was exceptional. Our server, Kayla, was most excellent and was probably one of the most attentive servers I've ever had. Our family wanted for nothing and enjoyed her wonderful personality. BJ's will most definitely be our family gathering place in the future.

1 STAR (only because 0 stars isn't an option) I genuinely cannot believe how disastrous our experience at BJ's Brewhouse was. I've had slow service before, but this was on a whole other level of ridiculous. All we ordered were PIZOOKIES . Which is literally the simplest dessert on the menu, and somehow it took 50 minutes... and actually, scratch that, we never even GOT them. First red flag: we waited 20 minutes just for water, and when the server finally dropped it off, they vanished like they were being written off the show mid-episode. For the next 30 minutes, we were completely ignored. No updates, no “your food is coming,” no apology, nothing. Just us sitting there like clowns waiting for cookie desserts that any sane kitchen can make in under 10 minutes. After nearly an hour of being treated like we were invisible, we finally just walked out. We weren't even acknowledged as we left. I've had better service at a DMV, honestly. If you're thinking of stopping by BJ's for a quick dessert, don't. Bring a sleeping bag, a tent, maybe a couple of meals to hold you over, because apparently even the simplest order is a multi-hour waiting experience here. Absolute chaos. Never again.

Do not go on pizookie night it's way too busy and not great service. Just pay full price for a pizookie
