Another great evening at Bob's which we think is the best steakhouse in San Diego County! Food is always perfectly prepared and portions are large. We always split the delicious blue cheese salad which is served on ice cold plates. I ordered the rib eye which came with a giant glazed carrot and a baked potato. My husband had the rack of lamb with the glazed carrot and a baked sweet potato. We ended up bringing enough home for a second meal1 Unfortunately we felt the service was a bit slower than normal and that is normally not the case. We love this restaurant and highly recommend it.

My husband and I took my sister there for her birthday. We all got the filets and they were excellent! The service was the very best. We live close by and will now go there for all special occasions!

We wanted a good steakhouse so we decided to try Bob's. The food was excellent. I had the wedge salad and my husband got the clam chowder. Both were so delicious, along with the bread. We both got the 9 ounce fillets. They were cooked to perfection and so flavorful. The service was impeccable. I would highly recommend Bob's!
This was our first visit to Bob's. Our son had given us a gift certificate to dine there so we did. We have gotten several recommendations to dine at Bob's from other family members who have had the pleasure of experiencing the fine dining at Bob's. Well, we can say the dining experience was exceptional from the service to the meal. We will highly recommend dining at Bob's to other family members and friends Also, on a side note. The amount of servings you get with the meal is more than generous. My wife and I shared our meal and we still had food leftover.

Very nice place a real dining experience. We dressed up because it said business casual. We were the only people dressed up. Our server Daniel was terrific! He's a professional server.

So disappointing. My husband and I picked Bob's to try out for our rescheduled valentines day dinner (we didn't want to go out on valentines day due to the crowds). We had a reservation and got sat down right away. That was basically the only part that went well. Our hostess told us this big long story about their housemade pickles and promised to bring some over, she never did. But other people she sat down got them right away. Our waiter gave me attitude about the wine I was trying to order as well as the meal I ordered. The food took forever (almost 2 hours) to come out and when it finally did, my husband had the wrong side dish and my lamb was severely undercooked. At this point we had been waiting so long that we didn't say anything, instead just ate what we could and got the check. We were so excited to try this place for the first time on a special occasion for us and it was such a let down. We will not be returning.

Nice restaurant. My wife and I were staying at the hotel which made it very easy to walk to the restaurant. Good drinks and the food was solid. Had a wagyu filet from the specials menu and my wife had a tomahawk pork chop with homemade apple sauce. Very good dishes. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back but great if you're staying at the hotel and don't want to go anywhere else.
We dine here often. Staff and food is always good and consistent. We always ask for Joseph as the server and he is excellent. Met the new GM this time. Frank. Seems very involved and we continue to feel this location is in great hands.

What a place. Beautiful resort, amazing, cozy restaurant with great food and the friendliest staff. Rachel and the others (I'm so sorry I forgot their names) took great care of us--we will definitely be back soon. If you haven't been to Bob's, please treat yourself and spouse, but at least yourself. Thanks again!

For Valentine's Day, they gave us a table in an overflow room, plain, no decoration, not ambience, a least should put a candle or something. Very cold room. Food was very good and the server was very friendly, although the food took a long time. Drinks were excellent. Just very disappointed with the "overflow" romantic Valentine's dinner.

We absolutely love coming to Bob's Steak & Chop House! It truly is our favorite restaurant because first of all, the staff is simply amazing!! Everyone is kind, helpful, and knowledgeable! The food never disappoints! We usually have the Ahi Tuna, Carpaccio, Filet Mignon and their wedge is one of the best we have ever had!
