This accidentally became my official birthday eatery when I googled outdoor brunch/Carlsbad on my birthday, just as restrictions began lifting. OMFD I am so happy to have found this hidden gem!!! I don’t know what tribute they sacrifice to the food gods but the culinary magic is real! Even nibbling off the plate of whomever joins me here, I have never had a bad bite!! How is EVERYTHING cooked perfectly every time🤯?! I keep saying I need to come more frequently, but until then thanks for another delectable birthday experience🥰

It has been a while since I last stopped at this cute cafe. Had the chilaquiles with steak and protein pancakes. What a great combination? Absolutely loved them. A new favorite.

Divine breakfast food! My friend suggested we try this popular restaurant down the street from her hotel while we were in town.
There was a long line outside on a Thursday morning and it was moving pretty slow. They have a large menu selection and everything on it looks good. We were drooling standing in line to order and watching all the delicious looking dishes being delivered to the other customers at their tables.
You order at the counter with the friendly staff and are given a number stand. Open seating and there is lots of it inside and outside.
A popular item was their giant cinnamon buns and it was so good! Fluffy and not too sweet. I ordered the chilaquiles and it was good too though I wish the salsa was thicker. My tortilla chips were drowning and getting soggy. My friend who ordered the grilled cheese sandwich said it looked good but fell short. She claimed it was a bit too sweet. Another friend ordered the omelet and loved it. The pancake was fluffy and perfectly cooked.

My absolute favorite place to eat in Carlsbad!!!! Cannot recommend enough ;). The perfect blend between a local spot and a gourmet breakfast restaurant. The food is amazing and the lavender lemonade is my favorite drink! The staff is friendly, engaging and attentive and even though they occasionally have the popularity of a long line the service is quick and efficient. So many fun and unique items to try on the menu and a must visit for a Carlsbad stop ❤️

Horrible customer service. They make my drink all watered down and gross and I asked if they can remake it since they brought my iced coffee all warm and the espresso was gross. Food was okay.
