My absolute favorite place to eat in Carlsbad!!!! Cannot recommend enough ;). The perfect blend between a local spot and a gourmet breakfast restaurant. The food is amazing and the lavender lemonade is my favorite drink! The staff is friendly, engaging and attentive and even though they occasionally have the popularity of a long line the service is quick and efficient. So many fun and unique items to try on the menu and a must visit for a Carlsbad stop ❤️

Horrible customer service. They make my drink all watered down and gross and I asked if they can remake it since they brought my iced coffee all warm and the espresso was gross. Food was okay.

Got the cinnaroll cakes eggs and hash for about $30 large enough portions to split for 2 and be full. Pretty delicious with some seasoning and a circle K across the street. Got here 11:30 perfect timing picked up at 12. They brought our food and offered water. Very nice people. Plenty of street parking

This is hands down the best breakfast/brunch spot! The food tastes amazing & you can tell they use quality ingredients. The service is equally wonderful. Each time we’ve been here the staff has been so friendly. When we visit So Cal/ Carlsbad, we always make our way to Cafe Topes.

We usually get the Crack’n Eggs which is a great portion for 2 ppl to split. The tri-tip is so tender! Barley needed a knife.

The coffee was a bit bitter but overall not too bad, the breakfast burrito was good and the service was great.
It's very meh. It felt like they made everything before hand and then they sat under warmers.y hash browns were crispy on the top, but the bottom wasn't and it was cut in a rectangle. My eggs were similar to my sandwich. I got a rustic sandwich which is supposed to be toasted, but it wasn't toasted. It was more warmed in the toaster. My bread was soggy in the middle and ended up sagging. I'm not sure when the owner has tasted this food last. The amount of people to the staff was significantly low. And people are vultures when it comes to a table. My goodness, you haven't even finished leaving and they sit down. Won't be going here again. For those prices Revolution Roasters has better toast.
