Elissa is amazing. Great sandwiches.
I'll definitely keep coming back. Also the baked goods and her chocolates are to die for. đđ
Not a chain, thank goodness. Seems to be a real French-trained chef. It certainly tastes like itâdelicieux!
Top 3 cafes on my list. California cafe hits the spot for a quintessential California cafe vibe. This girl must cook organic, cuz youâll leave feeling satisfied and fulfilled without any guilt of getting your glucose shot up like with usually compared dishes or getting your immune rung up through the ringer from processed or âenrichedâ ingredients. You can tell she clearly paid attention in culinary school since she cares about quality.
On my first visit I had the tomato soup with a grilled cheese +bacon($2 added charge). The tomato soup seemed to be freshly made and the sandwich had 3 large crispy bacon slices on 2 large sourdough slices. Its snuggled inside a business complex, youâll have the quiet rumblings of cars and on occasion small planes landing and taking off from Carlsbad airport next door if you sit outside. Inside sitting available. Great job ladies keep up the good work.
On my next visit I had the hot pastrimi and apple crisp. Whatever vanilla cream it comes with itâs absolutely delicious and a little goes a long way. The hot pastrami freshly pickled sauerkraut, hot mustard, white cheese on sourdough
This is such an adorable family oriented cafe. The food was great, the atmosphere was amazing. Highly recommend if you need a quick bite to eat while passing by the area or on a lunch break. Service was fast and friendly. Merci!!!
This is the most special cafe. Itâs under new ownership and when I say that lunch just got rebated, itâs the understatement of the year!
The sandwiches, soups and pastries are out of this world.
Elissa, the owner is a delight and the decor is so French and cozy. I always try to order the beignets before they sell out they are simply divine.
Love this place. The owner is so sweet and I can tell she has a genuine passion for baking and creating delicious food. Not only is the service great, but the environment is so warm, welcoming and charming.
Itâs always a delight coming here. Five stars all around.
Nice quiet cafe. Good gluten-free samwiches, too! đđŒ
Great atmosphere and amazing variety of great food for breakfast and lunch or a treat.
I enjoy visiting this place often and trying new things.
Amazing hidden gem!

Wonderful new owner, the food is fresh and made daily. The carnivore sandwich is so good, I came back the next day to have it again. Highly recommend.

Shining light in the new world of boring chains. Fresh pastries that are divine and different every day. The menu doesnât do justice to the choices. Also the atmosphere is like being in a French cafe with lots of nice private seating indoors and out.

Perfect spot for a cup of coffee and a relaxing place to hangout! The street outside is a pedestrian walkway - making it a great place to watch my kids play and enjoy a latte. The staff are friendly and genuine.

Elissa's coronation chicken curry is off the charts good! Then there's all the other baked treats... making choices so hard. Soo happy we have a new French chef in the neighborhood.

The Hot Pastrami did not disappoint. The Rye bread was well toasted, the meat was warm and the cheeses was melted and accompanied by lettuce and Tomato. All in all with chips and a drink the meal will set you back $15 which is normal these days. The seating areas are clean and quiet.
