Canyons Restaurant at The Crossings at Carlsbad

Always one of my favorite spots for lunch or dinner when friends or business colleagues come to town. Great service, great view. great food and good portions too.

Selected the Cobb Salad for lunch. At nearly $20, this small salad is mostly chopped lettuce with a minimal amount of diced chicken and nearly undetectable boiled egg and bacon. Not a good value; I'll try the burger next time.

Location lovely, drinks great, music was great, only complaint was the menu was somewhat limited. I would go back for another Friday night “Unwind Event”. Have been there for weekend brunch and that was excellent.

Excellent Prime Rib Dinner & Desert. Miranda could not have been anymore helpful than she was, a great asset to your staff.

Wonderful Sunday brunch at The Crossings! We went to see Jack Stong perform and had a lovely corner table overlooking the golf course under an umbrella. Our server Jesse was very attentive to our entire party. He made sure we had everything we wanted and the food was notably good. Overall value for the price was spot on. Will come again when Jack is invited back. 5 Stars!

We went for the live music Friday night (Perfect Blend Duo). There was a wedding booked at the same time which disrupted the live music a few times but overall a nice venue with good food. The kitchen was backed up so orders took a bit longer than normal but that was ok with us. Our server was new but did a good job. We will definitely come back next year for the live music Fridays.

The service was so bad we almost walked out. It took 20 minutes for someone to ask our drink order. It took even longer to ask our food order. The service was awful. Once our food finally came we asked for the check so we wouldn't have to wait forever to get it. I wish we would have left before the drink order because the food was as bad as the service. Never again!

We had a great Friday night Rewind here. Our server Phoebe was amazing and gave all the right recommendations for our meal. The weather was beautiful. Live music for the perfect vibe. A wedding taking place on the course. Nothing to complain about. We both had the filet with amazing mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. So good!

Food was good. Taco entree on Friday night could have more on the plate. Pretty stark when served. Meat in taco was excellent - needed more cheese and greens. Quesadilla on another night was 100% more tasty and well presented. Vegi burger and sliders were very good. Server was new and a bit fractured; however, courteous and tried to ensure guests were treated special. Lovely view. Been visiting Crossings for years - and will certainly return.

This is my first summer coming to the Friday night Happy Hours - every visit has been great. The service has been attentive, the music nice and the food has been exceptional

We had an order of sliders and then wings. We had two wines and two craft beers. Pricing was very reasonable considering our experience at other eating establishments. The server was very pleasant and happy to handle each request. This was our second visit to the Canyons, and each visit was wonderful. The live music on Friday Evening was outstanding!!!! Just a little disappointed in the limited new Friday Unwind menu. Food was tasty, but our favorites were no longer offered.

Sitting outside on the veranda overlooking the golf course and practice areas with a view of the City of Carlsbad and the Pacific Ocean is a treat. The service staff was excellent, attentative, and timely. The touted Rueben sandwich was below par IMHO. Stringy beef. I have had much better. However, the shrimp wrap was well liked. Cocktails were also good as was the Brussels sprouts appetizer.

Great Abiance Outdoor Patio furniture and views Some noise from the Carlsbad airport. Very Good Caesars Salad with Blakenend Salmon and many other great options

We enjoyed a lobster roll and Greek salad. The view was great. Our server was friendly and pleasant.
