It's rare to find a value equal or better than In-N-Out, but Carl's has with its California XL Combo. Under $10 for the burger medium combo meal. Burger was delicious with fresh ingredients and large patties. Fries were good as well. Employees were excellent and friendly. Resturant was reasonably clean for amount of staff on hand. Biggest disappointment, not of just this establishment, but Carl's Jr. as a whole is their choice of color scheme just like a lot of establishments these days are what I call Clinical Grey. It's just not friendly and inviting. Go back to the old school decor and brighten the place up.

I stopped in for breakfast. Staff friendly. Meal prepared quickly and accurately. Food served hot and tasted great. Maria took my order. After serving my food she never stopped moving. She was either helping other customers or cleaning everything in sight. Maria is an excellent employee.

I ordered the fish fillet sandwich (deal buy one get another one). She fried the fillets separately because I had found out that she refried an older, leftover fish fillet and one frozen one which was very hot and good. The other one was rubbery and over fried you could tell it had been fried twice.
