I've been a member of the Carlsbad location since 2017 off and on. We just had our company Christmas party there this Friday and the staff was amazing and really helpful. Everyone loved the venue, not too big not too small - and the wine selection was great! Carruth is my Cheers - my fav spot in the Village.

Nice spot. Bartenders were fabulous. More importantly the wine is good. There were too many sampled so you'll have to go and try yourself. At this location you can enter from State but go all the way back. We stopped at the coffee shop thinking that was the spot. Coffee shop sells wine too.

Cool hang in Carlsbad and we just missed happy hour by literally 2 minutes and the older lady aka manager said no. :(. We still had a glass of Chardonnay before dinner.

Amazing hole in the wall local wine bar. Tonight they had live music from Todd Wees, which was killer. Just a great place to unwind with great people. Dog friendly with awesome snacks! Great service, highly recommended!!

Excellent little urban wine tasting room directly across from the train station in downtown Carlsbad. They buy grapes from around California and then make their own wine at their facility in Oceanside.Super fun vibe for a date night. Bottles are reasonably priced ($30 - $55). We enjoyed a Tempranillo which was nice and drinkable. Not the best I've had but very respectable.There are a few small appetizer options but mostly just wine. There are flights available, glasses, or bottles.The tasting room is in a breezeway with open air so can get chilly. There is indoor and outdoor seating, although the indoor seating has roll up garage doors to allow air in.Cheers!

From Chicago, my daughter wanted to do a wine tasting and we discovered this hidden gem in downtown Carlsbad.I'm a rookie when it comes to wine tasting, but here's a little glimpse:We decided to do a wine tasting flight (4/5). Cool concept where you get to try samples of 5 different wines. The only one I really liked was the Sauvignon blanc, the only white wine.We also got a charcuterie board (3/5), which is ala carte rather than pre made. The fig spread and the French bread were my favorite.The ambiance (4/5) was good, a lot of people, pretty friendly. The hostess was very helpful. Took time with us.Recommended.

Carruth is an amazing wine tasting room in the village. I love coming here with friends to grab a glass or even a wine flight. My personal favorite wine from them is the Cabernet Sauvignon. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, especially Ryan who works at the Carlsbad village location. There is ample seating inside and outside so you can enjoy the beautiful Carlsbad weather with a glass of wine in hand.
