Authentic Mexican food at great prices. Nothing fancy, just delicious. We ordered taquitos, carne asada, an assortment of tacos- everything was delicious.

Great spot for fast and tasty takeout. The chicken burrito was big enough to split, huge amount at mildly seasoned meat. Add cheese and salsa to jazz it up. The mild salsa was just right for us . Tostada also very good. Chips and cheese were crisp and warm. Take out is well packaged, counter service fast and friendly. Employees were wearing masks. Note, prices on website are old, but Cessys is still a good deal.

Best taco shop in San Diego County-no question. From carne asada burritos to shredded beef tacos, it's all.good. I have tried many things on the menu, and never have I been disappointed. You won't either.

Breakfast burritos were pretty good and prices are even better especially for a location so close to the beach. We also got a trio sample of tacos - fish, shrimp and chicken. Fish was good, chicken was OK, shrimps were tiny though, salsas were good accompaniment

The lady taking our order was very unfriendly to the point where I almost didn't order. My husband liked his Carne Asada tacos, but I didn't care for my shredded beef tacos.

This is the sort of Mexican food I remember from Naugals, Del Taco, and the numerous other spots that were around in the 70's and 80's. Ground beef tacos, been ad cheese burritos, quesadillas with just cheese all of the favorites are still here and will take you back to those trips in the back of your dad's El Camino to the each for the day in your youth... (If you are old like me!) They have all the Carne Asada/Carnitas/Chorizo too if you aren't in it for the nostalgia!

While I was living in Carlsbad during the summer of 2021, Cessy’s was my absolute favorite place to go.Restaurants and businesses like this are the lifeblood of the community!Great tasting, affordable food.Warm, friendly people.I hope they continue to persevere through strange times!

The staff was very friendly even during a busy period. Being a local to Carlsbad, I have to say that the tacos were mediocre. I ordered the fish taco and it was way overcooked, but it made up for it in flavor. I also had the shrimp taco and was a little disappointed, the shrimp were not deveined and they seemed to be frozen cooked shrimp that were just defrosted and thrown in. Compared to taco shops in Encinitas this one is a no go for me, but I do want to try the others in the area. Overall if your looking for a quick inexpensive taco then it's just ok.
