I am beyond impressed with my experience here! I called and spoke with Pierre who was very helpful in guidance on creating a custom numerical birthday cake. He sent pictures and we finalized on details. The outcome...WOW!!! Expectations had been exceeded! Not only did it look amazing, it tasted incredible, all within a very quick turn-around timeline! On the morning of pick-up I bought a few morning goodies for my family and they loved it! We will be coming back for goodies and future birthday cakes! Thank you very much!

Everything at this bakery is delicious… even the coffee. I cannot say enough good things about the food, service and overall friendliness of the owners and their baked goods! This hidden gem is the best!!! Make the trip wherever you live in SD county, it is well worth the effort. Their chocolate croissants are decadent … plenty of chocolate and so flaky… sorry to be so effusive but words cannot describe how good they are. Highly recommended!!!!!

One of the best bakeries I have ever been to. The staff was extremely kind and made great recommendations. Their chocolate croissant, Oreo cookie, marzipan balls, frangipane pastry, rainbow bar, and princess cake were all amazing. Some of the best pastries and desserts I have ever had, don’t think you can wrong with any of the items at this bakery. 15/10 recommend

I’ve been coming to Carlsbad Danish Bakery for years, and they never disappoint! This morning I was there right as they opened and brought home an apple Danish still warm from the oven! Delicate pastry, wonderful balance of tart and sweet with a velvety texture. Absolutely perfect as usual ?

Really nice local bakery. They have a small outdoor patio with a couple of tables. Their quiche was smooth and full of flavor. The crust was flakey. Their chocolate muffin is for those that love chocolate. I would definitely come back again.
I've been wanting to try this bakery for awhile. Finally stopped in around 10am on a Saturday morning. Everything looked delicious and beautiful, so it was difficult to decide on what to get. We ended up with an Almond Croissant (huge, the taste was unbelievable, and one of the best I've ever had). I can't wait to try them other croissants. Chocolate dipped coconut Macaroon - We got this because my boyfriend loves them: I'm not even a huge fan of coconut and I loved this. So much so that I would get it again. I highly recommend this incredible cookie! The inside of the shop is tiny but there are a few outside tables to sit at. There is also a private parking lot, which is very convenient in the Village/ They have espresso options, too...which I'll definitely try next time.

Chef Pierre is an absolute angel. He made my little guy's birthday dream of a Minecraft TNT cake come true! Let me tell you about this cake. The inside was a moist chocolate delicious dream and the vanilla buttercream inside was absolutely scrumptious. I have never ever ever ever ever in 29 years had a cake that was so perfectly moist and soft, exactly what a cake should be.. I was a little nervous getting a fondant cake for the first time, as we usually order buttercream but knew it was the better choice so thank you Chef for telling me the options and walking me through the choices. Bakers in Carlsbad, San Diego and Las Vegas need to take note!!!!! Look how impeccable that design is: I'm from Las Vegas, and I called around Carlsbad for a custom cake, seeing those goodies on display and Chef Pierre's helpfulness ultimately led me to ordering from him. Chef Pierre made ordering this cake an easy process. Being that I'm from out of town, he made it comfortable and very prompt and I had no qualms that my son's cake was in the right hands.

UPDATE on my review: I wrote the below review and the owner Pierre, wrote to make things right. I guess there are two sizes and by mistake, I was charged for the large slice. Wow, what a truly good businessman. He insisted on refunding me since they were out of more rainbow cakes for today. I wanted more to take home to Phoenix but next time. It is an amazing bakery. So delicious! Thank you Pierre!!! I swear I've left a review before and can't find it. I gave it a 5 star rating in the past even the last time I was here 4 months ago. Unfortunately, I give it 4 stars. Why? Same amazing flavors. Very friendly engaging staff. Same fantastic rainbow cake,,,,but,,,,HALF the size for same price! Of course I still got two slices but disappointed about the size. Will I be back next visit? Likely. It's an addiction I have with that almond flavored rainbow cake. It's like an Italian rainbow cookie on steroids! lol Give them a try. They have so much to offer. I got a half chocolate covered coconut macaroon along with my order. I'll keep you posted on how good it is.
