We sat outside for brunch. Nice view of the ocean. Espresso machine was not working so that was a bummer. 2 people ordered crab cake Benedict and 1 ordered ham Benedict. All with their potatoes The crab was very fishy tasting and was just ok. The potatoes were heavily seasoned but came with bell pepper. Server was great and brought a birthday cake for my friend. The bar and restaurant inside are very pretty. I'd go back for dinner food. Not brunch.

We loved our experience at Chandler's. We went around evening time and sat outside. The view of the ocean and sunset was beautiful as we enjoyed our Father's Day special. The special itself was delicious, with our favorite being the dessert at the end. The steaks were also cooked well, accompanied with a well thought beer flight. Honestly the host/hostess were super friendly and nice and cheerful that was the only great part. It went downhill from that. Our drinks came on time it was good. The food took 1 hr and it was like they forgot about us. I ordered chicken it was overcooked and dried crispy. When we tried telling the server he brush it off and walked away. We paid 2/3 of food untouched.
This culture of forcing people to give tips even when service wasn’t good is insane to me. So I didn’t leave any tips but my friend did anyway even tho it was not good.

This made me so sad. It’s my first time in San Diego we didn’t know where to go after my graduation ceremony we decided on chandler’s because of the view and the distance was close enough. We were well welcomed by the host but the rest of the service was just bad. Our server made a lot of small talks but didn’t address our concerns when it came to the food. He was dismissive. The appetizer arrived on time and we loved the truffle fries but our entrees took soo long to come out when they did they were either too dry or too salty. It was so disappointing. And he didn’t even ask us about our parking when I saw the other servers to that for their guest. 😒

We had a small business dinner with 8 people here. The restaurant is very professional, helpful and flexible. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and knows the menu well. Their recommendations for food was spot on. The views, the decorations are well aligned with the location and the sunset was amazing. The appetizers are great to share. The main courses were sizeable and melts in your mouth. Overall, a very good experience! We will be back.
