I realize prices have gone up everywhere, but most all the food was overpriced and of mediocre taste. I have been to Chandler's in the distant past and yes, I expect to pay more but have also enjoyed the food in the past. The service, however, was very good.

Delicious and romantic dinner at Chandler’s Ocean Front Dining in Carlsbad! Love the elegant decor and the ocean view. Great wine list, we enjoyed the white rabbit Riesling and decoy Zinfandel. The bluefin tuna poke tostadas, Rosemary roasted half chicken, and tempura halibut sandwich were all very tasty. Excellent service, warm and accommodating. Dog friendly patio. Recommend!

Our waiter was Jose, he was fabulous. Food came out in a timely manner and was delicious. No complaints. Standard kids' menu. We sat outside on a November evening, the heaters were on and they were the perfect temperature. The table had burgers, ribs, sour dough, ahi tostada and the cheese board and loveblock Sauvignon Blanc. We all left happy and we look forward to trying the rest of their menu.

Chandler’s in Carlsbad is a fantastic spot for breakfast with a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere that feels both upscale and welcoming. The service was excellent... friendly and attentive without being rushed... which made the whole experience even better.
We ordered a little bit of everything to share, and every dish was spot on. The Chilaquiles were flavorful and perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of crunch and spice. The Breakfast Tacos were hearty and packed with fresh ingredients... definitely a standout. The Pancakes were fluffy, buttery, and a huge hit at the table, while the Kids’ Egg Scramble with Sausage was simple, well-prepared, and perfect for little ones.
The quality of the food here is excellent, and it’s clear that a lot of care goes into both the flavors and presentation. Whether you’re stopping by for a family breakfast or a relaxed brunch, Chandler’s delivers on all fronts. We’ll absolutely be back!

We ate breakfast here frequently since we stayed at the resort. The omlettes, pancakes and egg Benedict were great.
We had dinner once. It was beautiful to sit outside and watch the sunset. Our dinner was excellent. We loved the mushroom dip and sourdough bread starters. The sourdough came with a vibrant green pesto, which tasted great. But the warm mushroom dip was our favorite of the evening.
For entrees we got the roasted chicken and chicken sandwich. The sandwich was a regular sandwich but the roasted chicken was delicious with crispy skin and juicy chicken falling off the bone. It came with potatoes and crispy Brussel sprouts which were good as well.
Overall we had great service gor breakfast and dinner

The chicken sandwich and breakfast platter were very good. The raw fish dish was not good. Half the fish was so tough it was not eaten. The tender pieces had very little flavor. That dish is not recommended. We were celebrating a birthday and a complimentary birthday cake was delicious. Our waiter was attentive throughout the meal. The proximity to the beach provides beautiful ocean views.
Outstanding all around! Our fave meal of the trip! The bread with truffle butter was fantastic! The view was amazing! The dog menu was appreciated by us and furbies alike. The salad will never be forgotten. My husband said his fish stew style meal was the best of a lifetime! The chocolate peanut butter dessert was magnificent! BRAVO!

We arrived an hour early so sat on patio and enjoyed the music. We had a perfect view of sunset and decided to eat dinner there too. Steak was cooked as ordered and balance of meal was excellent. We will return next time we are down in Carlsbad!!

Very nice outdoor dining experience. We stayed at Bar section. We could feel the breeze from ocean and see the sunset. Food were delicious, and good value for Tuesday Taco specials. Service a bit slow, surprised to see full house in the bar section. We will come back for dinner.

Chandlers is a very nice place to have a reasonably priced meal in a classy environment with ocean views. The Halibut and Sea Bass were outstanding! And our server was terrific, as were the cocktails. We will be back!
