The chicken sandwich and breakfast platter were very good. The raw fish dish was not good. Half the fish was so tough it was not eaten. The tender pieces had very little flavor. That dish is not recommended. We were celebrating a birthday and a complimentary birthday cake was delicious. Our waiter was attentive throughout the meal. The proximity to the beach provides beautiful ocean views.

Outstanding all around! Our fave meal of the trip! The bread with truffle butter was fantastic! The view was amazing! The dog menu was appreciated by us and furbies alike. The salad will never be forgotten. My husband said his fish stew style meal was the best of a lifetime! The chocolate peanut butter dessert was magnificent! BRAVO!

We arrived an hour early so sat on patio and enjoyed the music. We had a perfect view of sunset and decided to eat dinner there too. Steak was cooked as ordered and balance of meal was excellent. We will return next time we are down in Carlsbad!!

Very nice outdoor dining experience. We stayed at Bar section. We could feel the breeze from ocean and see the sunset. Food were delicious, and good value for Tuesday Taco specials. Service a bit slow, surprised to see full house in the bar section. We will come back for dinner.

Other than service being a bit slow, prob due to understaffing, we enjoyed our dining experience very much. The service was very polite and caring despite the slowness. The food tasted outstanding! The setting is also outstanding! Definitely coming back!

This is the second meal we had and the brussels sprouts were overcooked to the point. You couldn't even cut them. The chicken was overcooked. The best flavor was the glaze. We were very surprised and very disappointed. Since we are here on a business trip, we will not be eating here, unfortunately.

The crab cake eggs benedict sounded so good, but it was just mediocre. It took twenty minutes for them to bring me my berry smoothie. The server did not come around very often and then when she came, she tried to take my plate while I was obviously still eating.

Chandler's Oceanfront Dining did not live up to the reviews; it was average in every respect but the server and hostess were friendly. The crab cakes on the benedict tasted like store-purchased frozen patties and among our party of 5, no entree was better than average.

Had a wonderful brunch this Sunday! The entire staff was incredibly warm and friendly, they had weekend brunch food specials which is always fun, the cocktails were delicious and they have a very nice wines by the glass list. The view was incredible and the decor in the restaurant was very cute. Only issue was the parking garage but I don't think the restaurant has control over that so, 5 stars for the service and experience!

Ok, so the food and the service were absolutely fantastic. We went during brunch, I tried the pineapple upside French toast, which was one of the specials, and it was out of this world. Everything else was great also. BUT, when we went to leave, we had parked in the garage, which clearly states the first four hours are free. Well, upon exit, we had to pay $10 which was a complete turn off. Well brought it up to the valet who mumbled something about calling the front desk from the garage panel, but it was not very convincing. So if that's how this is, we are definitely NOT going back there
