Ordered through Door Dash to eat with my virtual team at work during our winter conference. Ordered 2 thai teas, chicken dumplings, and their fish in black bean sauce lunch special. Definately had enough food for my daughter's after school snack and my lunch. Food preparation was quick and the door dash managed to bring the food right away. My fish was nicely fried and quickly stir fried in black bean sauce. The sauce wasn't as pronouces as in other places, but overall the flavor was good. My daughter enjoyed the chow mein and chicken dumplings. Thai tea helped hit the spot as dessert. Overall a pretty economical meal at around $25.00 (amount of the gift card provided by the company).

This is a gem in La Cost. The ingredients are fresh and prepared fast like one would expect. For the price of a Big Mac these days, you get a far more healthier dinner!

The food and service here were great! The lunch special was a lot of food for under $10, great value and good tasting food. Will definitely be back and recommend it for anyone in the mood for good Chinese food.

House chicken lunch special was so delicious! It is such a great price and the portions were so big! The waiters and staff were so friendly and accommodating, I definitely recommend and will be coming back :)

Really like this Chinese place. Had mushu vegetables with egg and sweet and sour tofu. They are clean and very nice service.

Vegetarian options: They made sweet and sour tofu for us which is not on the list.

Love China Fusion! We use to drive all the way to the 1st location in oceanside until they opened up this la costa spot. The food is always fresh and the service is great. We usually get take out, but eat inside every now and then also. Definitely recommend eating inside, the food is even more tasty and they are so friendly.

Great value and good size portions. When my wife recommended go for a quick lunch I really wasn't impressed because I thought it was just to take out place. I was pleasantly surprised. I'm sure a good part of their businesses is take out the restaurant spotless and well designed.As soon as we sat down we were greeted with a complementary cup of soup and I will say the service was excellent. They went out of the way to make sure what we ordered was exactly what we wanted.My wife enjoys spicy foods but not too spicy and they were happy to accommodate. I like shrimp and lobster sauce but I'm not fond of mushrooms and again they were happy to accommodate. While we had the lunch portion I was surprised how much food was on the plate besides the entrée there was fried rice and noodles. It was served steaming the hot and that's a big plus in my eyes. I do not like Luke warm food.They have an extensive menu almost 30 items on the lunch menu for under $10 and looking at the menu there are over 100 items to choose from any time of day.While this is a good-sized space they do not have many tables but they do have simple booths. I'm sure that lends itself to be more of a takeout place however I would have no problem going there again for a sit down dinner or lunch. It also appears that they deliver so that might be an option that appeals to some.China fusion is located in the Carlsbad the Costa shopping mall off of Rancho Santa Fe and La Costa.My wife has bought takeout a couple of occasions but this was the first time chose to eat in but I'm sure it will not be the last time

China Fusion was excellent! The food was delicious with generous portions at a really agreeable price! The cream cheese wontons and Szechwan Beef were my personal favorites. The Beef with Broccoli was tasty but didn’t seem as flavorful when up against the Szechwan Beef.The restaurant was spotless and had peaceful classical music playing. China Fusion deserves all the stars from service alone. I’ve never been somewhere where the staff was so thoughtful, so considerate. We were greeted and seated and brought bowls of egg drop soup while we were looking over the menu. They were quick to take our orders, get us food, fill our drinks. One server even pulled out a chair for me to put my bag when he saw me trying to get open it while holding an infant. They packaged our leftovers for us and gave us an extra fortune cookie. Just small, thoughtful acts that really impressed us. We absolutely plan on coming here again and again.
