You can't go wrong with any item here. We ordered a range of items from Mopu Tofu, Trio Kung Pao, Eggplant, to the garlic green beans with shrimp. Everything was so good! The lady we picked up the takeout from was so sweet and accommodating. I cannot wait to return!!!

How the heck does this place rate all these 5-star reviews?? This place had to be the worst Chinese restaurant we'd ever ordered from. Wife and I along with the in-laws ordered take out here, ordering their Lo mein and sweet and sour with white rice, broccoli beef, whatever the green green bean dish was and some kind of soup. Chicken and rice were dry AF, chow mein was suuuper oily and noodles were too hard. If this place is 5-stars according to locals I'm scared to try any other Chinese restaurants around here.

We had an excellent dinner with many excellent items: 1) garlic eggplant: 5/5.. tender perfect texture with savory garlic sauce. True masterpiece 2) Szechuan green beans:5/5. Huge plate of large fresh looking green beans, sautéed with mildly spicy sauce. 3) imperial shrimp duo. 5/5. Many shrimps and a few scallops nicely sautéed in milder white sauce with huge broccoli and other veggies. 4) kung pao trio: 4/5. Shrimp, scallops and chicken in spicy red sauce with peanuts. A little over sauced and maybe a little too sweet for non-American palates. Service was fantastic: friendly, efficient, helpful, supremely professional. We had a bad takeout experience a year ago but gave them another chance because all the other yelpers gave high marks. And the. Restaurant decor is actually quite lovely and upscale looking. Glad we went back.

My favorite new Chinese restaurant! Both the Carlsbad and Vista locations I have tried were terrific. Authentic cuisine and the decor in these locations belie the exterior. Beautiful interiors.

And they said there was no good Chinese food in Carlsbad!? Whaaa? We ordered pick-up from Chin's this evening and it was excellent. A delightful surprise as we only moved here about a year ago and our realtor had informed us that "there wasn't any decent Chinese in Carlsbad Village" (but there is)! Had the eggrolls, cream cheese wontons, and chicken fried rice as testers for our first "try"... and a few Chinese beers. They all fared well-- we'll most definitely be back. Thx!
