Sadly, very disappointed
We were sat at 6:40 (6:45p reservation), did not have a server visit us until 7:10p.
We ordered the chicken piccata, pennette alla vodka and two beers - $90
The food was beyond bland, did not have anyone stop-by to check on us until we requested the bill, which was also forgotten about.
The restaurant is cute and should be a great spot but unfortunately, had a less than desirable dining experience.

The happy hour selections are great!

I am definitely going back here. The food was outstanding the service was outstanding, I suggest reservations you can get them online but we definitely will be back
Husband got the surf and turf which came with a generous portion of filet a lobster four or five shrimp and veggies. I got the appetizer shrimp barsac, which I didn't like and sent it back because it was not peeled properly so I just ate off my husband's plate and it was really good

Excellent service and food! This was our second visit, and both occasions were great! Giorgio was our server and did a great job. I had the surf and turf and loved it! My wife had the ravioli, and she also enjoyed it. Our appetizer was brucheta with mozzarella, tomatoes, and a lovely dressing. All excellent! The dessert was tiramisu, and it was the best I've ever had. I highly recommend this establishment.

I really wanted to like this place. Service was good and the athmosphere was okay as well. I ordered the mozzarella pizza which unfortunately was not well baked. It was super soggy and the mozzarella felt cheap. There was a lot of flour on the bottom of the pizza on top of it. I ended up not eating it.
My coworkers had pasta and were happy with it. I personally wouldn't go back for the food but want to give this restaurant the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they are just better when it comes to pasta.

The service was extremely unpleasant. I left a 20% tip, which is already generous, but the staff made it clear they were unhappy and hinted that it wasn’t enough. This kind of behavior is the height of rudeness. With that kind of attitude toward customers, they deserve zero tip. I’ve never encountered such greed before. Not recommended.

Ahhhmazing! We had aperol spritz & pasta. It was lovely, service was excellent and the complimentary warm bread w bruschetta was the cherry on top. Will be coming back ASAP ❤️‍🔥

Great restaurant if you are looking for Italian food while in town.

Located just off the main drag of Carlsbad Village, this place is a gem with great indoor/outdoor dining, a fun bar scene, and a great happy hour (lots of options, rare for most places).

Oysters for $1.50ea at happy hour are a steal and they are good (but sometimes do run out).

Good cocktails and amazing wine list. Prices very reasonable.

Parking is street only (no lot).

Happy hour is great.

My mom, my 2yr old boy and myself came here last minute because we were in town visiting the Carlsbad flower fields but we will be coming back to Carlsbad just to eat here again. We got 3 different martinis, 3 different deserts, 2 entrees, and a kids meal and EVERYTHING was 10 starts! The atmosphere, part of town, lighting, staff...just INCREDIBLE. Our new favorite place to go for a little slice of Italy. The owner was super attentive. I just can't rave enough. We absolutely love it here 🥹🥰

Service sucked. There was no flavor in any of the food. The bruschetta wasn’t toasted. The dinner roll they gave was smashed so somebody cut it. The Papa Delia was flavorless all around shitty experience two people 180 bucks total waste of money.

The food was fantastic. We haven’t had such good authentic Italian food like this since Italy. Highly recommend. Quiet atmosphere for a relaxing high class dinner.

Carlsbad local here, I’ve been to this restaurant twice and never had any issues until tonight so I felt compelled to write this review. This business uses groupon, a popular third party service which attracts more customers through a discount program. I’ve used this service both occasions coming here in the past, but tonight our server who was not very attentive from the beginning informed us that our groupon could not be accepted. Their initial argument was based on the fact that we had only ordered 3 entrees and one appetizer, but nowhere does it mention on the discount that this is a prerequisite to attain said discount. After about 20 minutes of trying to settle the bill the server brought the manager over to honor the discount. I understand that the business is not getting as much profit from a family like hours using the third party service, but trying to make a quick buck by trying to void the service over some fine print is not a good way to go about business. Won’t be coming back to this spot.
