I've had the cross street chicken in San Diego and this places just seemed a bit more greasy compared to what I've had before.. the guy at the counter took our order and it was pretty quick. He gave us the buzzer and then I asked if they have ranch and he said yes that he will give it to us when our food is ready. The food took about 25 minutes which felt like a pretty long time while we were waiting hungry.. or food was finally ready and when I opened the box.. no ranch :/ so we had to get up and go ask for it -_- not a big deal but just inconvenient especially with tipping culture being so demanded these days.. could have remembered the small details.. anyways the wings were okay. They’re better at the location in Mira Mesa. And so was the ranch. Will stick with the other location from now on.Ranch: 4/10

Was really impressed with the chicken wings we ordered. We tried the Seoul spicy version, which was a nice balance between sweet and spicy, just as the cashier said it would be.The quality of the chicken, ingredients and prep stood out. Service was very good and the wait time was on par with expectations. Price point was good, too.

The garlic parm wings were big, meaty, and moist. Good flavor, a little crispy. Comes with fries or tater tots and I had fries. Lots of them and very good.

Tried the chicken with garlic parmesan and it was really good. Juicy pieces with a good crunch to the skin. Fries were solid as well. Will come again.

Food (5/5 stars): Highs - Ryan's plant-based Spicy Seoul wings surprisingly won me over! That Spicy Seoul sauce was EVERYTHING. The gochujang flavor had the perfect amount of spice and sweetness. My Soy Garlic chicken wings were great as well--crunchy, juicy, and nice flavor Lows - Similar to Padadak, the soy garlic was more of a glaze than a sauce, and I had hoped it would be saucier Experience (5/5 stars): * Price: kinda pricey * Wait Time: less than 10 min wait for food on a Friday for dinner * Service: good * Parking: there's a parking lot * Ambiance: it's in the Windmill Food Hall, which has a variety of food options!

This place is a go to! It is worth the hype on eating here. The flavors provided is immaculate. I love ordering the garlic parmesan & soy garlic. Plus, the workers are really nice. They are kind and can help you in any way when ordering.

Amazing hot chicken sandwiches, so large they can be shared! They are messy so be prepared to enjoy with lots of napkins!

Wilson was so helpful! I really appreciated all his patience with me and walking me through what was most popular. The chicken sandwich was so huge, a great portion of fries came with it. The chicken was juicy, and they were dark pieces in my piece. I wish there was a bit more tang in it. Definitely recommend!

Located inside the Windmill Food Hall located off the I-5 and across the street from the Carlsbad Premium Outlets. Ordered their chicken sandwich and tater tots meal combo. Super delicious! Very tasty with a super crunchy fried coating over real chicken breast meat! Tater tots were fried and were also super crispy! So good! Highly recommend!

Chicken was all breading and then the bun. What chicken is in the breading, seemed good. Tots didn't have garlic like they said they do, so who knows.Pretty overpriced for some bland food. Maybe some non-breaded items there are food and have meat.

Maybe I just got a bad sandwich but the meat was awful, gray, the darkest meat i've ever seen in a chicken sandwich and was almost undercooked. The fries were unsalted which was easy to remedy obviously but regardless the whole experience was just not really ideal for $18

Cross Street Chicken and Beer is the absolute best chicken in North County. Here's why: 1. The chicken flavors are amazing. The OG seasoning and buffalo sauce were soooo good. Heads up the buffalo sauce is spicy so buy an extra ranch or water to cool it down. 2. THE TATOR TOTS. Crunchy. Not oily. Delicious. 3. The customer service. Everyone who has served me has been so wonderful and has gone the extra mile. If you're going to the windmill, make a beeline straight to Cross Street Chicken and Beer!

Some of u guys are straight up lying about this food lol gone in person and ordered online many times foods always super good and usually fast as well, in person the service is good and they can answer your questions (id eat here just for the fry on the chicken) literally stays crispy in the fridge after 2 days

The 3 chicken tenders and tater tots were okay. Pricey, but just okay. Soy garlic sauce tasted good, not overly sweet, very slight heat. Chicken wasn't dry, batter had a nice crisp. Tater tots were over cooked. No pickled radishes to accompany the KFC.
