I recently found out about it here and I love it. It’s so good and I think it’s pretty fresh. I got the buffalo chicken salad with both ranch and blue cheese on the side. I loved it. We got a small soup and my partner got an Italian panini I believe. They loved it. They were fast and the atmosphere was very calm. It wasn’t very busy when we went in but shortly after it got busy busy. I definitely enjoy it here so much!

Love the food at croutons it's refreshing and flavorful. I definitely recommend it. They did move to a location just a few doors down from where they were previously the new location is a little uncomfortable because between the music and the people talking at the very live room acoustics in there and I could barely hear my friend and I like rock 'n' roll so don't get me wrong, but it was much too bright, so if there's a large crowd in there you probably won't be able to talk real comfortably between the music and that the service is always so so there I mean they're they're fine you know it's not really like anything friendly or they're not real helpful or when I called to ask a question it was just like talking to just a computer so they could do better by giving better service I did leave a tip but I leave more of a tip when people are really friendly or say hey let me recommend this or that would you like a brownie or something you know just sell it next time I go I won't be eating in the venue it'll be a to go order and if it's not hot, of course I'll eat outside at the island, but it just was not comfortable in there.

I had vegetarian panini sandwich. It was great. There are offers to have 1/2 sand watch and 1/2 soup but I went with full size of veggie panini.

I have purchased 3 lunches since Croutons moved down to the new location. All were a disappointment and not the former quality. Today, I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and chicken with wild rice soup (tomato basil not available AGAIN). I got home and I had been give minestrone not chicken rice!I won't be back.

I have been going to Croutons for nearly 10 years! Mostly was at the Sorrento Valley location as I worked near there. I have been to this Carlsbad location a few dozen times over the last few years and they are awesome. Very generous portions on the salads. Very reasonably priced as well (many other places you are paying $15+ for same size salad). So many varieties to choose from. Our go-tos are the Cobb, BBQ chicken, Tuna, Mandarin and we also like to customize sometimes. You can ask for extra croutons too at no charge. Their brownie bites (called crouton bites) are so delish! Always consistent and fresh products used. I only wish they offered door dash delivery and had longer operating hours as it is challenging to go between 10:30am-2pm. I would like the option to pick up in the late afternoon to have for dinner. DO NOT go during standard lunch hours between 12-1pm or you will be waiting forever. Best time to grab and go is right when they open or close to close and the wait is little to none
Nothing more disappointing than spending $3 extra for "double meat" and this is what you get. $17 later and I got the same amount of meat I would have gotten if I had just ordered it normal. I guess check your order before leaving.

Great spot for a quick sandwich or salad! They had a large menu of really great options. The paninis are delicious and so fresh, and huge! There is no inside seating but plenty of seating outside. Delicious sandwiches, perfect for a quick lunch.
