We had a group of ten gals for a book club get together. We were able to sit outside where it is quiet and we could discuss the book easily. Our server was so attentive with both our drink and dinner orders. The bar menu had something for everyone. Was a fabulous night thanks to the staff at Bar Traza.

My family and I had a wonderful dinner. We are all such picky eaters and our kind server was able to help us find dishes and even accommodate my food sensitivities. I absolutely LOVED my grain and greens salad with salmon--melted in my mouth. My vegetarian oldest child had the cheesy flatbread with banana peppers, so good! And my son with autism had the simple meal he needed. It was my son's birthday and our server even brought this incredible warm brookie and sang Happy Birthday. The ambiance was incredible; low candlelights indoors or starlight and torches outside--and all kid friendly. Pricey were surprisingly reasonable for such a gogreous resort. We look forward to our next stay. So grateful!

Overall, not bad food but service was understaffed. It's a resort so the food is pricey for what it is. It is convenient though if you're staying on the property.

Lunch at Bar Traza worked well for our needs.The wait staff were terrific, as we had an elderly lady with a walker. It would have been great to be outside on the terrace, but we hit just the wrong time of day to get shade instead of intense sun. Inside is a sports bar, so big screens with different sports events. Luckily, the noise was not so much that we could not talk. The food portions were quite large, so we had enough for take-home boxes, which staff readily provided. Clearly a busy place, yet we felt that our order and our comfort received individualized attention. We will go again.

We ordered healthy salads which were fine...nothing special. What made the evening was the ambience outside to enjoy the pleasant weather, lovely view and it was quiet. Inside the noise was a very high pitch due to families with children. It was a holiday (July 4th). Staff very professional.

We visited the Bar Tresa after arriving in Carlsbad after a long day of travel. Luckily, we were given Jose T as a server. He was an amazing server, he took care of us and we had a delicious meal. We will be back, we highly recommend you visit. The food, service and view were amazing! Thanks Jose!
Great buffalo wings, had a nice drink. Service was good but not great, and be prepared to pay - it's overpriced. Was probably busier than usual because of the NCAA golf tournament. Will happily go back once my paycheck clears.

This place was amazing! The food was so delicious. I had the skirt steak & fries. Had an amazing glass of Prisoner wine 🍷 with my meal. Friend had fig salad & a pretty orangey drink. Our server Teresa was sweet. Our view was the most amazing view. All this after a wonderful day at the spa. Highly recommended 💕

A great go to restaurant for lunch, drinks & appetizers, or casual dinner. Food & service is always great, and the outdoor patio is a lovely choice with less noise volume. Have dined here several times when staying at La Costa and have never had a bad experience.

I stayed here for an extended stay and so I was at this bar quite a few times. The bartenders are spectacular. 🎉🎉🎉The service is five star. The food is elevated bar food but my favorite bartender, Josh (and also delightful Lukas and super young and cute Tanner) told me about a secret menu item ”honey walnut shrimp” which is literally mouthgasmic 👅👅👅🤷♀️ If you’re in Carlsbad and you need a solid place to have a cocktail and a nice bite 💖 this is the place… Now keep in mind the crowd can be empty or full and full of people you like or people you don’t like so just focus on the blessings🎉💃🏿💃🏿
