Authentic Italian Bakery! How did I miss this place?! So unassuming, hole in the wall bakery tucked in the corner of a shopping plaza. The pictures speak for themselves. Delicious and authentic. Don't come here expecting American style pastries or sandwiches. It's amazing and the quality is there! I've been to Italy, husband is from France so his expectations are always high when it's an European bakery. He loved the Italian sandwich and Italian ham especially. As for the prices, it's on par with the quality, did I hear imported Italian flour?! Yes. Italian family owned bakery where you hear them speaking Italian? Yes. Cute Italian mom and dad hanging out in the bakery? Yes. You can't get more authentic than that. My new favorite local bakery.Kid-friendliness: Yes

This place is amazing! The food, the service, the friendly welcome from the family that owns this place- all just outstanding! My husband and I tried the mortadella pistachio sandwich special and picked out a box full of delicious super fresh pastries (they bake their bread and pastries fresh three times/day). This food is as Authentic Italian as you can get, the family is from Italy and they import all of their ingredients from Italy, as well. If you're looking for an amazing Authentic Italian food experience, you NEED to try this place - you'll be so happy you did. Thanks for the delicious food and friendly service, we can't wait to come back next time we're in the area! ❤️

We tried the baguette sandwich with prosciutto, mozzarella, arugula, olive oil and a touch of truffle. Very tasty ?. The coffee was also so good.
North County is lucky to have such a wonderful restaurant/bakery! Their cannolis are the best I've ever had, and their other pastries are excellent also.

We're visiting and staying in the vicinity of Carlsbad. While checking out local restaurants and bakeries on Yelp, as I am wont to do, I happened upon Dolce Aroma. The fact that it is an Italian bakery, in addition to the many good reviews, caught my attention. While here we're celebrating my brother-in-law's birthday. On the bakery menu I noted they offer a flourless chocolate cake. When well prepared this is an outstanding dessert. The Torta Al Cioccolato from Dolce Amora is SO DELICIOUS! It has a smooth, creamy texture, throughout both the cake and the chocolate ganache frosting. Both have the memorable taste of fine quality chocolate, not too sweet, just sweet enough! I ordered the cake without having visited the bakery or, sampling their products, taking their statements of using high quality ingredients and artisan baking skill at face value. We were not disappointed, in the least. Everyone LOVED the cake, especially the birthday boy! Dolce Aroma offers amazing baked goods. They are a relatively new business worthy of your support.

I can't recommend this place enough. Employees are actually humans and are able to hold a conversation without it being an interrogation?? What a concept that is so lost here in the community of Carlsbad. The owners are from Naples, Italy. They constantly work hard and are more than willing to answer any questions about their food!! The food itself is impeccable and shouldn't be missed. I absolutely love this store and couldn't recommend it enough. Everything is immaculate and I adore this place. The smells are heavenly and it's always so clean in the kitchen/cafe. Amazing!!! Bringing integrity back to food something that is so missed here!!
