Went there awhile back with my Dad. The server was friendly and brought out drinks quickly, but the food took a long time to come out. I ordered the cecina burrito, and the meat was super super dry, and also seasoned with way too much salt, it was the only thing I could taste. My dad ordered the Tlayuda Mixta, and his food was also super dry and overly salted, while the tlayuda was apparently stale. While the staff was awesome and I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, I would not recommend coming here.

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem in Carlsbad, offering authentic Oaxacan cuisine that’s absolutely delicious. The service is always warm, friendly, and attentive, which makes the experience even better. The chips and salsa are fantastic—honestly, the salsa is the best I’ve ever had! I highly recommend the enchiladas de mole negro—rich, flavorful, and perfectly made—and the memelitas, which are just as amazing. If you’re looking for a spot that delivers both incredible food and great service, this is the place to go!
Imagine working as an Uber driver and no one lets you use a restroom. This place is even partnered with Uber but will not support the community by allowing people to use restroom. No wonder it smells like urine in this neighborhood. No community support just another greedy business that wants the community to support it but can’t offer support in return!

You know the bathroom at Shell is out of service, you know it’s 87• out today, you know that you had no customers and I would have stayed for lunch. The comment about “bathrooms are for customers only” is uncouth and telling of customer service. I walked out and left.
