Chef Ty’s food was surprising in the very best way! I’m rarely pleasantly surprised by food anymore, but Chef Ty brought new life to familiar dishes. Lemonade shrimp and green apple Caesar salad—tasted like summer! Light yet bursting with flavor. I was so pleased with every bite, from hors d’oeuvres to the salad to the main course. And, Chef Ty was lovely, down to earth and a great contributor to our overall experience.

Please hire mobile bartenders and other vendor services separately, and not all on food caterers invoice. This will significantly help professionals like me who spent 12 years perfecting their craft not be taken advantage of. Ty approached me to work future events with him but I ended being exploited against my will for detailed proposals on multiple blind leads. I own my own mobile bartending service and I am an active mixologist at a local speakeasy in Del Mar. I was hired by vip client for upscale bar and beverage services and they also hired Ty for two private events. Chef Ty does food catering, I do beverage catering and have my own liquor license. He expressed he will attempt to bartend for clients to avoid hiring a trained bartender. In result, he sent multiple blind leads with no chance at securing the client. Most likely, their was no client. He just had me spend hours perfecting an invoice. He contacted me after 10pm and had me working at 6am. He request detailed quotes with blind leads. (No name. No address. No contact number). I expressed in writing I need full details and deposit. He also had me working on this imaginary project with less than week notice. He assured me he would not do what he ultimately did. Please do not hire this caterer with other services on his invoice. He takes advantage of the other vendors then dismisses them and takes credit for their work. Like he admittedly did with my Peach Cobbler signature cocktail.
