Ty approached me to work future events with him but I ended being exploited against my will for detailed proposals on multiple blind leads. I own my own mobile bartending service and I am an active mixologist at a local speakeasy in Del Mar. I was hired by vip client for upscale bar and beverage services and they also hired Ty for two private events. Chef Ty does food catering, I do beverage catering and have my own liquor license. He expressed he will attempt to bartend for clients to avoid hiring a trained bartender. In result, he sent multiple blind leads with no chance at securing the client. Most likely, their was no client. He just had me spend hours perfecting an invoice. He contacted me after 10pm and had me working at 6am. He request detailed quotes with blind leads. (No name. No address. No contact number). I expressed in writing I need full details and deposit. He also had me working on this imaginary project with less than week notice. He assured me he would not do what he ultimately did. Please do not hire this caterer with other services on his invoice. He takes advantage of the other vendors then dismisses them and takes credit for their work. Like he admittedly did with my Peach Cobbler signature cocktail.

We used Chef Ty's services for our corporate Christmas dinner party of 2023. He came to our home with two staff members. From the first phone call, Chef Ty was a pleasure to speak and work with. We spoke several times before the event and he went above and beyond to satisfy all of our event needs. He was on time, the food was served hot and delicious, and he left our kitchen as clean as he found it. THE FOOD - We had four passed around small bites during cocktail hour. It was all absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend the apple and blue-cheese turnovers! I think about them often. The Lamb lollipop was crazy good. The shrimp appetizer was great as well as the mushroom one. Dinner courses were presented so elegantly and tasted as good as they looked. We began with a fabulous pumpkin soup. It was honestly the best pumpkin soup I've ever had. That was followed by a tasty root vegetable salad. We then had Filet Minon over risotto with a demi glaze sauce over it. Wow! It was truly spectacular. I HIGHLY recommend Chef Ty for any special intimate dining experience you are thinking about. Our party was of twenty three people. He made it a wonderful and memorable evening for us. Thank you, Chef! amazing experience!
