French Corner is one of the best finds in Carlsbad! Several businesses have tried to make a go of it in this location at Carlsbad Boulevard and Beech Avenue, and I'm happy to see that French Corner has succeeded. It's no wonder at all, either. Several people have commented about their amazing food, all of which I "second." Their hot mocha has become a bit of an addiction for me, so much so that I asked one of the servers if they know of a Mochaholics Anonymous to recommend... but seriously, that beverage is ridiculously good. My favorite mocha in town.The staff are genuinely friendly, making each customer feel special and unique. I can recommend French Corner without hesitation. Try it - you'll become a regular, I'm sure.Parking: Easy to find - if there's none out front, turn east onto Beech Street and park in the spaces behind the building.
Great fruit tarts! The crepes were missing strawberries. They are a little slow making it, but that's expected with a small custom place.

In honor of “International Women’s Day”, we feel it is important to support women owned businesses (not only this day, but also on a regular basis) and it is that desire that led us to the “French Corner.”Everything about this place intentionally seeks to provide you with a little taste of Paris during your visit. ?? You’ll need to “parle a little francais” while ordering because the menu items have had French names bestowed upon them. The food at this place is undeniably delicious, and I have a deep affection for it, often returning. However, on multiple occasions around 3-4 pm, a staff member abruptly closed the door, citing their flexible schedule based on weather conditions and customer numbers. This seemed odd, especially after checking the Google working hours and making a considerable effort to get there. My patience waned when I encountered the consistently unfriendly cashier today, whose smile appeared forced, likely due to owner instructions. The only positive note was the pleasant and friendly male cook. Unfortunately, my experience soured further when the cashier handed me an overfilled coffee in a plastic cup, leading to a spill on my clothes. Despite my love for this place, these incidents have tested my patience and loyalty. I hope for improvement to ensure continued customer satisfaction.
