GelatoLove Carlsbad Village

Loved the gelato at GelatoLove! Really enjoyed the cioccalato, vanilla caramel, dragon berry, and cookies & cream flavors. Super sweet staff and dog friendly inside and out. Recommend!

Lovely place for after dinner espresso. Or before dinner, or whenever!! I just love that they were open late. Authentic, welcoming, delicious, cozy. So many Gelato flavors to choose from, so creamy, so delish! A few non dairy options as well. Best part, they have oatmilk for their coffee/espresso!! And the cups are so cute and authentically Italian.
The lady working was so ALIVE and engaged in the customers experience, but, not overbearing or pushing us to decide. Amazing service! The gentleman working with her was the same. I felt like they cared for what we wanted.

Thank you for allowing such a wonderful place and experience to catch up with good friends on a Friday night.

What a delicious stop. Our restaurant didn’t have any desserts but recommended this place. A wonderful variety too. They have sorbet as well. The staff are fantastic too! I was able to taste a few to make sure I made the right choice.

It does feel a little odd an cramped inside though. The original pictures gave such a simplistic and beautiful feel. Currently there’s so much stuff.

There are two cases to view with choices. Which you almost miss if you do not walk around to the other side.

We had the lemon sorbet and the dark chocolate. Both were very much enjoyed. Since it was a cold December night, we also liked that there was a lot of inside seating!

The pistachio gelato was incredible. You can tell it is good pistachio gelato as it is not a radioactive green color but more of a olive color. The stracciatella was incredible with such a clean creme base that is wonderfully refreshing with each bite perfectly complimented by the chocolate shards. The dark chocolate flavor was perfectly rich especially when paired with the pistachio and the stracciatella. You also get a surprising amount of gelato for all the sizes.

Vanilla gelato did not taste like vanilla. Just cold cream. And the mouth feel was off. Not very creamy. Disappointed. But the shop was cute, service was good.

I LOVE this place! You have to try the red velvet its amazing and has actual cake pieces in it! They are always so friendly and their gelato is made with love and you can taste the quality! I've been coming here for years and its always been just as good (If not better)
