First time there, I was looking for something sweet for breakfast.
Got a super cinnamon and choco dip bagel.. Very good taste and quality!!
I will try again for something salty

I’ve been going to this bagel store for the last six years and it’s been consistent every time! The girls behind the counter are always very fast preparing my breakfast and they’re always happy to see me! The service is absolutely outstanding. I recommend this bagel place to any bagel connoisseurs in the area like myself!

Worst customer service by cashier. Will not return.

My husband and I eat here regularly. We love the bagels, the price, and the service. The woman remembers us & our order every time we go and is very friendly to us. It’s busy on weekend mornings, FYI, but they move through the line at a solid pace.

There is a trend happening in the restaurant/food industry that turns my stomach and it happened here at Garden State bagel. I bought a ham, egg and cheese bagel yesterday and the total was $8.91. I used my debit card to pay. The sandwich was just ok, pretty bland but it was fine. Over night I received an email from my bank stating my purchase at GS Bagel was settled at $11.58. This means that an employee at the store added a $2.50 tip which I DID NOT authorize. This happened to me about a month ago at a restaurant where my bill was about $20 and I wrote $5 tip. It settled over night for $70 meaning the waitress changed the $5 to $50. Since then, because the bank doesn’t consider it fraud, I was out an additional $45, I ALWAYS sign the bill now and if there’s an option for a tip I write CASH and the total is just for the cost of the food. I give cash tips now because this theft is happening to people everywhere !!! Here at GS I didn’t sign anything and my receipt says $8.91. I don’t mind spending money but I HATE BEING RIPPED OFF AND/OR STOLEN FROM. I hope the $2.50 was worth it because I know hundreds of ppl in this small town and I’m telling everyone I know that an employee here stole from me. I’ll NEVER go back so don’t spend it all in one place!

We are regular customers of this little place but it was disappointing what happened on Tuesday, February 25th in that place. The woman who was serving the customers had the worst attitude that a human being can have. She treated the customer who was in front of us very badly and we felt so bad that it seemed like the one she treated badly was us. After seeing that we couldn't continue there and we decided to leave that place where the customer service is not good at all. I hope the owner of that place can do something to have a better work staff. We will definitely not return to this place while this unpleasant person is working there.

You can certainly go to some big bagel chain. But, if you want a delicious locally made bagel from a mom and pop bagel shop then you need to visit Garden State Bagels. So many bagel styles to choose from. You may want to visit early as there is big demand for them.

Delicious bagels and a large variety. Owner is super friendly and they are quick at getting your order made. Went twice while we were there for two days because we liked it so much the first day. Average prices, not bad at all.

It's been a while since I last had a Garden State bagel, but today I found the the bagels to be disappointing.
