The Oreo milk shake was delicious but the plastic cup they use cracked in multiple places before we were able to finish it. In less than an hour we had milkshake all over everything before we realized it was leaking. Beware of the plastic cups.

Very chill coffee shot. First time for me. Doin some coffee and homework while the family shops in the mall. Wish they had wifi, but working off hotspot

Not often am I in the Carlsbad Mall, also known as The Shoppes at Carlsbad. Wanting to make the best of it, I stopped by Gold Coffee Shop. The wait time was reasonable. There was only one customer before me. The coffee that I ordered was freshly made, a pour over coffee ☕. Rather than a bold cup, I wanted it smooth. He added heavy cream, which made it perfect. Oddly the coffee shop did not offer wi-fi. When you find yourself at The Shoppes at Carlsbad, you may want to enjoy a cup of coffee at Gold Coffee Shop.

Very slow, and my coffee had some kind of grainy texture. Not sure what that would be in a hazelnut latte.

The biggest mistake. Take you wait forever. Small americano and latte 15 minutes. Unbelievable slowest service.

We stopped in here while doing some shopping on a Saturday morning. The atmosphere is welcoming with a good variety of different beverage choices. I ordered a horchata latte and it was 5/5! Prices are reasonable and the coffee tasted like quality beans! Will definitely be back next time we're at the mall.

I found this place randomly walking around one day with a friend. And I've been coming back any time I'm at the mall. It's a delicious hidden gem. Good lattes. Not too sweet on most things. Some fun flavors.

Tried to scam me. I ordered a medium drink and the cashier/server charged me for a large. He was hesitant to give me my receipt when I asked so I could verify that I was upcharged. After receiving a medium sized drink I told him I was charged for a large and he quickly poured my drink into a large cup while avoiding eye contact. He didn’t bother checking my receipt when I presented it to him likely because he knew what he did. I would give one star but the coffee was decent. If you go here please check your receipt!

The coffee is amazing I ordered a small Mexican mocha iced and I wanted less ice but was not given that. I went back just to get a quick fix but apparently they couldn’t fix that. Basically they wanted to over fill my drink with ice instead of the drink which was 5 sips. Terrible customer service you should be able to fix the problem I myself work at a coffee shop so no excuses.

I went up and ordered my drink per usual. I was waiting AT LEAST 15 minutes before I got my drink. the people behind the counter were just talking and messing around. my mom had to go up to the counter and say "what is taking so long" and she asked for a refund because we had to go and they didn't even give me my money back. I got my coffee tho it was good jus felt unwelcome

Great coffee shop! I got a candy cane cold brew, and it was perfect. Not sickeningly sweet, the way Starbucks is. The affogato looked really good too, I'll get that next time!

Disappointed. Our first time and last visit We ordered decaf coffee. It was very watered down. We asked for heavy cream which they said they had but it also tasted very watered down and more like half and half. For us, it was not worth $9.63 plus a tip. You’re better off going to 7-11.

After buying a frappe I ask for a cup of water and he went inside and brought me tap water that taste like bleach never buying from there anymore You don’t do that to
