We had the best experience at Gregorio’s with our dinner club. There were eight of us, and we try a new restaurant every month, so we’ve been to a lot of places. Gregorio’s was hands down our favorite so far.
They had the perfect table waiting for us on the patio. It was warm, cozy, and not too loud, which made it easy for all of us to actually hold conversations without shouting across the table. That alone was such a win for a larger group.
The food was beyond amazing. Before our dishes even hit the table, we all kept commenting on how incredible everything smelled. Every plate that came out looked beautiful and tasted even better. And the bread? Some of the best I’ve ever had. Fresh, warm, and completely addictive.
The service was absolutely on point. Attentive without being intrusive, organized with a big group, and genuinely kind.
We’ve officially decided this is going to be our go to spot at least once a quarter. If you’re looking for a place that nails atmosphere, food, and service, Gregorio’s is it.

Service really slow tonight. 2 hours+ for what should have been 1 hour meal we were waiting for every step. Salads are huge, enough for 2-3 people. Eggplant Parmesan good. Fish of day was haddock very good. Fresh bread delish. It's pricey but I'd return if the service wasn't really outrageously slow.

Enjoyed our table on the outside porch. Food was good; positive comments for the risotto and cioppino. Bread pudding was delicious.
The service and food is great. The bartenders are very friendly and fun to talk to. Lots of locals seem to go there. It's just a bit expensive unless you go for happy hour.
Food was amazing. Train was loud, but service and environment overall was 5 star. Highly recommend.
Great food but a little pricey

Food was fabulous as always. Love the smaller portion option. Best Eggplant Parm in North County.
Great service. Super cute spot. Great food. The train was a bit obnoxious, but overall would recommend.

I had an amazing time here with friends and family. The food came out outstanding and our waitress took care of our every need! Will definitely be back!
Place was comfortable, even outside seating. Live music was wonderful. Good was good and not so good. Quite expensive for what I got. Waitress was super nice, but couldn't remember to bring things we asked for. Shrimp scampi style dish, half order was 31.00, 6 over cooked shrimp and noodles. Gnocchi chicken soup was awesome.
I’m an Italian born in Italy and generally do not frequent Italian restaurants. My brother introduced me to Gregorio’s; I have reconsidered. Great eggplant parmigiana — multiple eggplant layers with judicious use of cheese and sauce. Meatballs are also pretty good. Bread is so-so. Great server. She introduced me to Tanqueray 10. This will be my go-to gin. A lovely evening!

Very homey experience! Joyed my butternut squash ravioli, made from scratch. My boyfriend really enjoyed his Chicken Piccata. Excellent t cappuccino as well.
Food and ambiance was exceptional.. I enjoyed this restaurant on my birthday with a huge party and they were so attentive to us I decided to come back again for dinner with hubby. Pizza and tortellini was amazing everything comes out fresh and hot. Drinks are great too! We will always come back here when we visit Carlsbad.
