I’m an Italian born in Italy and generally do not frequent Italian restaurants. My brother introduced me to Gregorio’s; I have reconsidered. Great eggplant parmigiana — multiple eggplant layers with judicious use of cheese and sauce. Meatballs are also pretty good. Bread is so-so. Great server. She introduced me to Tanqueray 10. This will be my go-to gin. A lovely evening!

Very homey experience! Joyed my butternut squash ravioli, made from scratch. My boyfriend really enjoyed his Chicken Piccata. Excellent t cappuccino as well.
Food and ambiance was exceptional.. I enjoyed this restaurant on my birthday with a huge party and they were so attentive to us I decided to come back again for dinner with hubby. Pizza and tortellini was amazing everything comes out fresh and hot. Drinks are great too! We will always come back here when we visit Carlsbad.
Pasta is always really creamy and chicken is very tender and soft atmosphere for the evening. I wish they had the heater lamps on would’ve been nice and I wish the bread was more hot. They gave me cold bread and I’ve been here other times and the bread was nice and toasty. It really does make a difference

3.5 stars. We had a reservation but spent time longer than anticipated time looking for parking. They were still able to seat us. The ambiance is quite casual. The service was nice.
My friend ordered the sausage caciattore and I ordered the tortellini pesto sausage pastas. The sausage caciattore was excellent - savory, a decent kick, everything cooked well, so a great choice. The tortellini pesto sausage was not the best. I thought the pest would have been a little drier but the pasta was drowning in the sauce. The pesto was also creamier than I would have liked. The whole thing had just one flavor, which was more creamy than pesto. I got the individual portion but it was still a lot to finish. Once the oils started separating out the next day, the pasta was more manageable to eat. I wouldn't recommend ordering this.
For dessert, we ordered the tiramisu and the chocolate lava cake with ice cream and limoncello. The desserts were good. Limoncello was very nice. The tortellini downgraded this place from 4 stars to 3.5 stars. If they can make that sauce more pesto, less cream and more flavorful, this place is totally worth 4 stars or even higher.

Great food, fun ambiance, our server Claire was phenomenal. Great place to go and accommodating with alterations to dishes.
Just coming back from Rome I was skeptical. Found this one by accident. There was a city wide food event happening so there was constant traffic of people. But our server was great, food was delicious. We bought a full pitcher of sangria, a lot of ice, seemed a little unnecessary for the price paid. I would come again. Massive diversity on the menu.
Excellent cocktails, quaint location- gluten free options for those who require the accommodation. A winner. We’ll be back!

Always a great experience when I'm in town. The train passed by a few times but it just adds to the charm of the city!
Really a great Cesar Salad. Dressing was excellent. Fresh Bread baked daily. Fried Calamari was fantastic! Pizza very good too. Will go back for sure. Highly recommend.
Excellent food and service. They have indoor and outdoor seating with live music. Great little spot within walking distance of the beach.

Everything we ordered at Gregorio’s was incredible—the chicken parm, spaghetti & meatballs, and the star of the night, the short rib pappardelle. Desert was an additional treat to top off the night. Excellent service and absolutely a place we’ll come back to!
