Grubby’s Poke & Fish Market

I visited this place for the first time and I have to say the experience was truly excellent. Even though it was very busy, the service was impeccable. A special thanks to the girl who served me, she was extremely kind, patient, and very thorough in explaining how everything worked since it was my first time trying poke. She made me feel comfortable and gave confident recommendations, making the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Her colleague was also friendly and professional despite being clearly busy. The food was delicious, with fresh ingredients and great combinations. You can really tell there is attention to quality in every detail. It’s not something you take for granted to receive such attentive service during a busy time, which makes it even more appreciated. I will definitely be coming back, you’ve gained a new customer!

I’m overall very impressed with the poke here. I ordered a small bowl, and it was surprisingly large (the large is absolutely huge!). Everything tasted fresh, and while the prices are a bit higher than other spots, the generous portions and the use of real dishes for dine-in customers make it well worth it.

They also have a great patio that’s perfect for dining outside on a nice day and staff was friendly and efficient.

This was my first time ever trying poke, and I have to say, Erica made the entire experience incredible. She was outgoing, helpful, and genuinely enthusiastic about what she was serving.

You can tell she takes pride in her work. She carefully built each bowl like an artist. Everything looked fresh, colorful, and thoughtfully put together. She didn't rush the process and made sure it was done right.

Great customer service is rare, and Erica absolutely stands out. Thank you for making a first time experience such a good one. I will definitely be back.

I walked in and immediately smelled rotten prepared fish. The smell permeated the restaurant. Turned around and walked out.

By far best poke in town. My friend did get food poisoning from here though we both came before the movies and after the movies he felt sick and was puking and out of work for couple days but I felt fine. So I will definitely be coming back 😂

DELICIOUS. I love that you can add the eggs or sautéd poke. The sautéd poke is my favorite. The spicy tuna is also really good, much spicier for me than others, but I just drink more water. Overall all super fresh, and lots of options to choose from. Glad I found this place. I have only come here at lunch time during the week on my break. Most of the time, it is not too busy, but there have been a few times when it was surprisingly busy.

Someone recommended the smoked salmon here. Was not a fan. Luckily the spicy salmon poke more than made up for it. It’s one of the few poke spots in the mainland that sells poke a la carte (with extra garnishing). Would come again.

This place is so good! I love their cucumber miso its not something I usually find at other poké shops if they added a truffle sauce or oil of some sort I would give them 10 stars! Great poké place overall.
