Picked up a pint of ice cream last week. The gentleman was very kind and made sure to pack it right and weigh it. Today I stopped by for another pint and the nice lady didnt pack it nor weigh it. I dish realize until I got home that it was much less than a pint. I paid for a full pint. Ill still go back to that location tho but im more aware now and wont pay until I see it weighed.

Nice Haagen-Dazs location! Very friendly staff and quick service. We ordered cones of chocolate and cookie dough ice cream and really liked them. There are tables outside and a lot of other seating throughout the outlets. Recommend!

Worst Ever Hagen-Dazs franchisee
I ordered three ice cream scoops, and I was shocked by the poor value for money. Each scoop was outrageously expensive, yet the portions were so small that they barely filled a third of the cone. My children were visibly upset and confused as to why a single scoop here was just a fraction of the size we’ve received at other places. For such a high price, this level of stinginess is simply unacceptable. I strongly urge management to reconsider their portion sizes to match the price they’re charging.

What can I say, it’s Haägen-Dazs, so of course the ice cream was perfect. The staff, while not rude, were unfriendly. But…ice cream!! I just wish they had more flavor options. Like chocolate peanut butter.

This place will need to step up their game with so many other ice cream places in Carlsbad to choose from. I should have known better but we ate across the street so it was convenient.. one scoop did not come above the top of the cone! You just can’t do that! Not for that price. I seriously asked my husband where the rest was! My taste sample was so minuscule I couldn’t taste it.. and it just wasn’t clean enough… … go to Handels or Jenni’s

I did visit here for haagen dazs ice cream. When I did step inside store, Person who look like staff she just keep saw cell phone. I asked ice cream, but she looked me with angry face. It was terrible experience.

My experience here was embarrassing and disappointing due to the store #966 managers unprofessional actions towards myself and another employee at this location on 11/25/23 at 5:08 pm. I entered the store to redeem my mini cone reward and the employee, who seemed to be new, accidentally gave me the wrong cone. Once I arrived at the register, the Hispanic woman (she was speaking Spanish to the employee) told him that she needed to charge me for the mistake, but somebody had to pay. I asked her why I had to pay if it was not my mistake, and she said it was! I was confused at that point and the employee was shaking nervously and handed her $2.00 out of his own pocket to pay for the cone, which she accepted. I could not let this poor gentleman pay for something that he clearly did without knowing and I gave him the $1.50 to cover the cost. I cannot believe the manager would take money from the employee (federal labor law violation) instead of apologizing to me. I even offered to give the cone back. Overall I love their ice cream and the employee was more than nice, but the lady in charge should really get looked into before it costs the company more than the price of a cone to defend a labor law case against the store.

It's not a great value. Haagen-dazs cartons from the grocery store taste fresher and are better priced. Plus, they charge extra for a second spoon to share.
