Hennessy’s Carlsbad is great! Fun, live music on Thursday evenings. One of my most favorite Burgers ~ $6.00 Smash Burger w/ fries! A double smash burger w/ cheese, grilled onions, bacon, sauce ~ all on a yummy grilled bun. It’s SO good! The wait-staff is friendly. Open late ~ come try it…you’ll have a nice experience.

The restaurant is dirty The carpets are black and the bathroom needs a facelift Everything is all cooked on the same grill and all the food tastes the same. My Salad was wilted and I had no idea what was in the greens I used to love eating here but not anymore

Place was highly recommended by carlsbad staff, so we went to try it. Took awhile to even get noticed by our waitress. Blond gentlemen had to ask her if we've been helped yet, then she came to us. Was very nice and attentive when she knew we were there. Pancakes we're great, but the bananas & strawberries extra toppings tasted like Onions. Yuck! I've done it at home, and I truly believe the cook made the same mistake of not using a separate knife to cut Onions and fruit. Strawberries with Onions after taste,Yuck! Me and my wife both tasted the yucky Onion after taste immediately eating the strawberries. Pancakes were great, yes, and thank goodness we didn't pour nasty onion tasting fruit on top of Pancakes.
