First, the staff was so sweet and helpful. They were friendly and attentive and lovely to order from. The place was clean and well decorated.
The food however, which is what we came for, has literally no flavor. I mean if you are not drowning it in sauce, the fish is flavorless. I usually order sashimi at sushi restaurants so I am used to plain sushi having a flavor. The portion of the fish you get vs the pricing is insane too. it's about the size of a cookie scoop worth of fish per flavor. The toppings all feel canned or not fresh besides the cucumber and scallions. It was way too expensive vs. the quality and portions. Honestly the portion would be fine if the quality was there.
Not sure if we just got there on an off day for them, but almost $40 for two small bowls, it should have been much better.

I recently visited HOOKED ON SUSHI and was blown away by the freshness and quality of their poke bowls! The variety of ingredients was impressive, with plenty of options to customize my bowl exactly to my liking. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the toppings were vibrant and flavorful. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made the experience even better with their excellent customer service. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable for the quality. Definitely a go-to spot for anyone craving a healthy, delicious meal. Highly recommend!

Honestly the best Poke I’ve ver had. My dish had a spicy Mexican fusion influence that made it amazing. Ordered it with cucumber instead of rice. You have to try it. The owner is very nice too.

Awesome poke spot if you’re in San Marcos!! I got the poke bowl and spam musubi and both were very flavorful and big portions.

The service was phenomenal! I spoke with the owner throughout my lunch and loved how attentive him and his team were. Could not recommend this place more.
