Jeune et Jolie is a fantastic dining experience that I can't recommend enough, if you are visiting or local you owe it to yourself to give it a try. The servers are kind and very knowledgeable, and the food is exquisite. My only complaint, and it's not a big one, is that sometimes I had trouble hearing the server due to how loud the music was, it's not blaring, but it is distracting enough that when the, often soft spoken servers, were talking I missed a couple of meal and beverage pairing descriptions because I was sitting at the furthest point from the server at the table.
Wonderful food and ambiance. Highly recommended! And loved the wine pairing, which was outstanding.
Exceptional experience! The food was amazing and the staff were all knowledgeable and friendly.
Very cute French style restaurant located in Carlsbad Village. Staff is outstanding. Food was amazing, and priced very reasonably. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend!
This charming French restaurant felt like stepping into someone's home—someone with impeccable taste and a deep love for food. From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the staff was palpable. Greeted with genuine smiles. The space itself was intimate and cozy, decorated with rustic touches that whispered of Provence. Candlelit tables creating an ambiance that was both elegant and inviting. But the food—oh, the food—was the true star. Every dish was a revelation, it felt like a dream. What truly elevated the experience was the attention to detail and the servers were thoughtful. This wasn't just a dinner. It was a warm, memorable encounter with French culture, hospitality, and heart. A rare gem that lingers with you long after the last bite. We'll be back—without question.
Came with our family of 9 to celebrate 2 new yrs eve birthdays. Was set menu 6 course dinner $300 per person and drinks for the menu was additional. The drinks were set per each course. ranging from $75 non alcoholic $175. Family was not sit together. Split up 5 and 4. Main issue was the long wait between dishes and messing up and not sitting together

Everyone knows the food, atmosphere and service are great but have you had a Gavincino? Gavin makes THE BEST cappuccino. The bartender also makes fantastic off-menu drinks as well. So good.

Such an incredible dining experience in Carlsbad! Their prix fixe menu changes seasonally, but the French-inspired cuisine with California influences is consistently excellent. The intimate setting and knowledgeable sommelier made our anniversary dinner truly special. Reservations are essential but so worth planning ahead for.

The seafood was phenomenal. We had the tasting menu, and next time, I’d skip the wine pairing and instead ask for recommendations based on each course.

A must-go! This hidden gem in Carlsbad offers beautifully presented dishes that taste absolutely delicious.
The 4-course menu made for a relaxed 1.5-hour dining experience—just the right amount of food and wait time. Perfect for date night!

Although the set menu only has 4 courses, the food was especially flavorful, with each dish balanced and expertly prepared. The warm ambiance and attentive service made the meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

From an former employee who has done extensive work for an employer who doesn't appreciate it. I haven't been compensated in anyway. No free food money or even a thank you. I will not come back when you call.

I recently visited this restaurant, and I was initially excited because they reached out beforehand to ask if I had any dietary restrictions. I informed them that I have a gluten intolerance and avoid sugar, which I really appreciated.
On the day of our visit, I mentioned that it would be a special occasion—I was dining with my best friend and my daughter. Upon arrival, we were seated inside, but it was very cold because the restaurant’s door remained open. We requested a blanket for my daughter, but they forgot it.
A disappointing aspect was how they interacted with my daughter—or rather, how they didn’t. When she placed her order or made a request, they largely ignored her and focused only on the adults, which felt dismissive and unfair.
The dishes themselves were nicely presented, and I received attentive service as an adult guest. However, their substitutions for my dietary restrictions were underwhelming. For example, instead of a thoughtful alternative, I was served a plate with a few pieces of cucumber and carrot—far below the expectations for a Michelin-starred restaurant. For dessert, I was simply given a few berries and fruit slices.
Overall, I had high expectations for a refined culinary experience, but the service fell short. Dirty plates were left on the table, and no one even came to say goodbye when we finished our meal—we left on our own. Unfortunately, the experience lacked the attentiveness and excellence one would expect from a restaurant of this caliber.
Kid-friendliness: No, they ignored my daughter.
