I had dinner here last Saturday with a friend, and everything was amazing! Our server, Jinny, was super friendly and gave us great recommendations — every single one hit the mark!
We ordered the wonton cheese, Nam Tok beef, crab fried rice, and Tom Yum soup. Every dish was delicious, but the Nam Tok beef really blew me away — perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. Definitely my favorite of the night!
I also grabbed a $4 Singha craft beer, which was such a great deal and paired perfectly with the crispy wonton cheese. Total fire!
Highly recommend this place for great food, good vibes, and awesome service

We just tried this for the first time after noticing it opened. It was amazing. We did do to go this time, but are looking to dine in on our next visit. Everything was amazing. We ordered the Panang curry, drunken noodles and pad thai. Perfection! Make sure to check this new place out!

New ownership with an attention to detail. Hidden gem just off the 78. Ordered the drunken noodles and spring rolls. Both were great! 5/5 would recommend.

Drunken noodles were good, but the fried rice and curry were lackluster. They are in the middle of revamping their menu, so I will try their food again in a few months, hoping to see an improvement

It was just ok. Just didnt taste fresh. My rice was brown as if it came from the bottom of the pot.Really didnt taste like Thai food. The food I purchased from panda express a few days ago was made fresh and had better flavor and offered more food

Best Lao/Thai food around (if you know). Authentic taste, good people, and great ambiance. It's authentic, don't even question it. It's not westernized, which I love as a Southeast Asian. Love Lao food. Love the restaurant, have ordered many, many times from here.

Showed up at 3pm on a Saturday. The restaurant is opened. Rang the bell. Waited and no one responded. It's really too bad

This is a little find in Carlsbad! We wanted Thai food and we wanted it in this specific area, so we came here. The restaurant was empty on this Sat afternoon. We were a little apprehensive but decided to give it a shot anyway.
We got seated immediately. The server was nice. Each table has a bell with buttons indicating "call" and "pay", which was unique and I wish more restaurants would adopt this. The Thai menu is pretty much standard. Their Lao menu has like 8 items.
We ordered the drunken noodles from the Thai menu and Khao Poon or Vermicelli Curry Noodles from the Lao menu. Both plates were delicious but not super spicy. For next time, we will ask for a higher spice level. The drunken noodles was a proper stir fry with a lot of veggies and a mix of great flavors. The Curry Noodles was a bowl of coconut milk based soup with vermicelli, minced chicken and beef pieces and veggies. The bowl was a huge portion and would have sufficed 2 people. The drunken noodles was good for 1.5 people. Pricing wise, it is on par with Carlsbad. We will be back to try more options!

Food tasted fresh and delicious. I am not an authority on whether it was authentic Thai but the flavors met my expectations. Staffing was a little light so we did have to wait a little longer than we would’ve liked. It was a little frustrating that they had run out of many items when we ordered. Take out is probably a safer bet.
