The food and service were both amazing we would go back we had the shrimp cocktail , sand dabs and fish sandwich with ono.

This is one of my dad‘s favorite places to go to. I really do appreciate the fact that the restaurant staff members were able to accommodate the fact that we get caught in traffic and had to change the time of the reservation in addition to a couple other things. The food we had was absolutely outstanding and I absolutely would recommend that people come to this restaurant if they want great enjoyable seafood.

The food is excellent as always. I'm so glad they re-added the buttered sweet corn back on the menu as a side. One of my favorite restaurants despite the slightly expensive cost.

Oyster's were great! Entree fish halibut was dry no flavor, the mashed potatoes looked like plastic. Pasta was tasteless. We had to send one entree back. Customer service is polite and friendly but a little slow. Not my favorite experience for $200.00

Our family eats at the Carlsbad Kings Fish House at least once a month and are usually pleased with the customer service and the quality of the food. However, that last two times we have eaten there, my fish entree, usually halibut or Sea Bass, was medium warm to cold. Last night, the plate was hot, the spinach was hot, the mashed potatoes warm and the halibut room temperature to cold in parts. Out of a party of four, mine was the only complaint. It had grill marks on it, but the temperature was undesirable. My husband said I should have sent it back, but I didn't want to spoil the fun evening we were having. He owns a restaurant and believes the owners/management want feedback. And he questioned later how the plate could be so hot and the fish so cold. He says even if it sat under a Salamander, awaiting expediting, it should have been HOT. All others in our dining party ordered the Sea Bass, and blackened Jumbo Shrimp and were satisfied. We usually sit at the Bar, but sat at a booth, and despite the restaurant being half full, our service was really slow.

Absolutely perfect experience- our server Lydia was friendly, helpful, efficient and attentive. The food was excellent. Fabulous Cadillac margarita. Delicious desserts. It's rare that nothing falls short in dining out these days, but we all agreed that it was perfect.
