This place is one of many cafes near my work and I only heard good things so I decided to check it out. I called them to order my lunch thinking it would take a while for them to get it ready and it was already done by the time I walked over. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl, I am pretty picky about my teriyaki, and it was very tasty. They also gave me a small side of Mac salad and I need a jar of that stuff it was so tasty! I went back on a rainy day and got their soup of the day and a sandwich. The soup was their chicken poblano and it was wonderful especially in the cold day. The soup and sand which were large and I was able to have it for lunch the next day. Definitely plan to go back.

Located on the first floor of a building complex, La Place Deli serves up the surrounding local businesses by offering delicious breakfast and lunch foods. The staff is friendly and helpful in narrowing down what to eat. As my first time visiting, I quickly observed that everyone knew the staff and vice versa and it reminded me of how endearing relationships to local businesses are so important their success. I'm not crying, you're crying. The Foods | Noteworthy selection of deli sandwiches, wraps, and breakfast items. There are cold bottled drinks and little snack items such as chips and cookies. - Ortega Chicken Melt | Grilled chicken breast, melted jack cheese, mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, avocado, green chile, Dijon mustard on sourdough toast. Chicken breast is moist and tender. The mild green chile is cut open and laid out flat in between sandwich layers. Such a filling and satisfying sandwich! - Macaroni Salad | Comes with the sandwich. Served cold, it has a perfect coating of mayonnaise and peppered with pepper. It's a nice side dish to the sandwich. La Place Deli Feels | Cozy and clean with a few tables indoors as well as covered seating outdoors. I decided to sit inside due to a heatwave currently sweeping through the area, but any other time, I'd rather be outside enjoying the mild temperatures and sunny weather. The Parking Situation | Plenty of parking near the front entrance and side of the deli. Parking is free.

The best kept secret of north county! Korean-owned with Korean specials like bibimbap, pork bulgogi, freshly made deli meats every morning, the best quality ingredients. Their breakfast burrito is so good, just as good as Juanita's famous breakfast burrito. It's hidden in a business plaza with red umbrellas outside. Looks like a business plaza deli but food it amazing. Check it out!

Great local deli. Owner is always friendly and their food is great. They have a wide selection on their menu, daily specials, and soups. Recommend to stop by.
This is the BEST breakfast spot. The owner is such a nice guy- he will remember your name, your order "the usual?", as well as chat with you and ask how youre doing. The food is not anything complicated- standard american breakfast fare, but they dont skimp at all on the portion sizes, or on the ingredients. When you eat breakfast here, you are left full and satisfied. I think one of my favorite things was the chocolate chip cookie he'd slip in my to-go bag each time i came by. :) I havent been by in awhile due to COVID, but if any place nearby deservea your business-it's here!

The owner makes you feel at home! He is so friendly. The prices here are very reasonable. I work one building over and I'm so happy I gave La Place Deli a try. I had the special of the day which was a BBQ chicken sandwich. It was delicious! I believe most of the sandwiches come with macaroni salad which is delicious as well. I can't wait to go back and try one of the many sandwiches they make!
