Tried the hummus wrap and avocado toast at La Vida and wow, healthy food that actually tastes good is real. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying without feeling heavy. This is the kind of place that makes you forget you’re eating ‘healthy’ because it just tastes great. Definitely coming back.

WOW…..just WOW!!! I’ve been living in Carlsbad for a while and this is a hidden gem. I am very strict with my diet with eating healthy and they were more than able to accommodate anything I needed. The costal salmon wrap was out of this world and the service was top notch. Definitely a must try!

Tried out La Vida inside the Windmill Hall in Carlsbad and honestly it was a little bit of a mixed bag. I ordered the toasted chicken wrap with a spinach tortilla since they told us it was one of their best sellers, but man it was not it. It was basically just a heap of white rice with a few little pieces of chicken tossed in. No real flavor going on, just super bland overall. What made it even worse was this weird green apple salsa they paired it with. It literally tasted like an apple smoothie and I was so confused why they thought it made sense as a dip for a wrap. Had to ask for a different sauce because that combo was just not it at all, and for fifteen bucks, definitely not worth it. LUCKILY! My wife and our close friend Jenna ordered the Caesar kale wrap and that thing was a complete 180. Crunchy croutons, good amount of chicken, and a tangy sauce that actually made sense with the whole thing. Absolute ten out of ten. I was sitting there wishing I ordered that one instead.If you end up coming here, definitely recommend the Caesar kale wrap, but stay far away from the toasted chicken wrap. Trust me. The girl at the register was exrtemely sweet and very welcoming and helpful as well! I don't blame her by any means and the restaurant/storefront is very vibey and cool looking!
