Charging extra when I said I want to replace an item on the menu, and charge me for extra cheddar when I didn’t ask for extra. And they use after tax amount to calculate tips. Really don’t like the way they try to get some extra money out of the customer. Try to talk to them but they keep finding excuses. Not a pleasant experience.
I have been missing a Salade Nicoise since Mimi's Rooftop Cafe closed. Stopped here to try their take on this old standard. Flavors of salad good, not great, potatoes not particularly fresh, addition of red bell peppers (sacre bleu!), unusual mix of salad greens (very little butter lettuce or romaine if any) and a vinaigrette that was sweet (balsamic vinegar?) and flavored with red bell peppers(?).
