I loved this place! I live about 30 minutes away and would make the trip back! You know how you can have food envy when you see everybody else's plates? That was me! AND I LOVED my chicken pot pie!

Went out for lunch today with my co-workers, food is awesome. Unfortunately, our server looks like she wasn’t happy to be there at work, she looks grumpy not sure what is going on with her, maybe she needs a new job. But the person who brought our food is very nice and another server comes check on us also very nice too.

Food is great! We like the variety of options. It's a bit louder of an environment between the live music and tv's and volume of people in the space during busy periods. As long as you know that going in, you're good. For service — It may have been a fluke event but we waited 30min after being seated and had to find the hostess to let them know no one had stopped by yet. It wasn't too busy; big tables around us were being reset and two waiters were serving tables 3ft away but wouldn't acknowledge our table. When a waiter did come, they shared they were covering for someone on their break. That's normally totally fine but their tone made us feel like we were inconveniencing them and we felt awkward. We didn't end up getting our drinks or appetizers until 45min after that (pretzel bites and chips/salsa). We then waited another 30min for someone to check in to take our entree order. At this point we're more than 1.5hrs into being seated and we see the interim waiter (think they were the bartender) sat a larger party 5ft away and was servicing them and wouldn't look at our table to even check in. Someone else was clearing water bottles on a neighboring table and walked past looking back at our table. We made eye contact and weren't sure if it was a busser or the regular waiter back from break. Turned out to be the regular waiter and he backpedaled with 3-4 big bottles wrapped in his arms that needed to be refilled. It seemed like nothing had been communicated to him about our table from the interim person and that we hadn't placed our main order yet. We could tell he was frustrated. We felt bad; I would be irritated too. He eventually lightened up a bit after we tried cracking a few jokes, and seemed to be in better spirit towards the end. We still left him a good tip and didn't feel like it was necessarily his fault.
Terrible service - no value for the cost- there are other restaurants in the area that are SO much better
Food and drinks were great and the Blues musician was very talented, but not overwhelming sound-wise.
I really wanted this place to be good. Our friend was visiting from DC and we wanted her food experience to be as good as the beach and people experience in San Diego. Our waiter did not tend to us for a long time until another waitress felt sorry for us and put in our order. Our waiter came over after announced himself and that was the last we saw of him. We had go find somebody to pay for our meal. The food was ok . The drinks were delicious though.
Really enjoyed brunch here. The place has a cozy, relaxed vibe, the food was fresh and flavorful, and the coffee was great. Service was friendly and attentive without feeling rushed. Overall, a solid spot for brunch and def somewhere we’d come back to.

Our group had to eat early, during Happy Hour. While the Happy Hour menu different than the dinner menu, everyone was pleased with our order. Great food and fewer diners made for a very enjoyable meal for us. Of course, if you want the full menu that does not start until 5:00 PM.
This place never disappoints! Complimentary lemon cake for my birthday, fantastic food and service!

Wing report!
I like my wings naked, on the small side and a hair above Buffalo-spicy. If they offer flats-only, that’s a big plus. I appreciate being asked about ranch/blue cheese and prefer the blue cheese. I enjoy my wings best in a friendly sports bar with as many TVs as they can fit. I usually grab a spot at the bar. With that being said, I rate this establishment as following (out of 10):
Wings: 3
Freshness: 1
Service: 4
Atmosphere: 9
The wings were dry and old. The bartender (in his own words) was “way too high”

I travel from Michigan 10 days a month. This is always my first stop upon arrival. Quality food, staff and management. It's my Cheer's.... It's the Gem of Carlsbad, just my thoughts.
The food was fantastic, service friendly and efficient. This is a busy restaurant (that's good), but relatively quiet, and easy to have a conversation.

Food was good and good atmosphere. Was disappointed with table and hostess. We had reservation and it was raining. We were seated at table that was only half covered from the rain. When we asked for another table we were moved to table in another room in front of band which was loud.
We were there for New Year's Eve. The music was wonderful. Our food was delicious. The cost was very reasonable. Our waitress Ellen was very efficient. This was our second time going, we are already planning another visit.
We celebrated NYE here and it was fantastic. So many great menu choices! Nice staff and the live music was a bonus.
